Is it time for a March on the SCOTUS and the Judiciary and the Senate?

Is it time for a March on the SCOTUS and the Judiciary and the Senate?

Are you as fed up as I am over the bad decisions being handed down by the SCOTUS and throughout the judiciary? Are you tired of judicial activism? Are you tired of being ruled by the men in black robes? Is it time to remind the SCOTUS that We The People ARE the final arbiters of law and justice in this land?

Are you fed up with the weak-kneed Republican Senate? Are you ready to drop the nuclear option on the obstructionist Democrats? Are you fed up with Specter and the RINOs?

Is it time for us to rise up and march on Washington again? How many of you are willing to join me in another march to D.C. to straighten out these yahoos and remind them of who's in charge in this republic?

If they can do it in Lebanon, we can do it here!!

Sadly, it would almost have to be a Consitutional Amendment to protect it from these Justices. Knowing them, they would probably rule the legislation, unconsitutional.

I have concluded that all Senators are gutless wonders including my Santorum. There are only really good people in the House.

This is a different subject but I think it applies to your last "revise and extend" post--

I have been watching the Senate today debating new bankruptcy laws---and Kennedy and Durbin had a colliquy discussing how it is "unfair" that some states have better homestead exemptions than other and that "they" need to fix it---

I am confused, aren't the STATES supposed to be able to make laws pertaining to their residents? I say that because I know that Texas is one state that Kennedy and Durbin would like to change---

What happened to state's rights? I think that that is a subject we need to "march" about also--

I was listening to Laura Ingraham this morning and she is ready to march now---anyway, she had a caller from Penn. and he said that Santorum may get beat next election because he hasn't stood up to Specter and dems--

Laura is a big fan of Santorum, but even she agreed he had not done very good this year---

Well, I am from Illinois, currently living in Colorado, Boulder area. Feel sorry for me. So, in IL there are those turds Durbin and Obama, and out here in Colorado, the Republicans fought hard for Coors, but ended up with the turd Salazar.

Can't win for losin' as my grandma would always say.

Almost all of these issues roll up to the SCOTUS at some point. If we fix that problem it willl all sort out. SCOTUS is at the root of what has gone wrong with America. Fixing it will involve "communicating" strongly with Congress and the WH. I think Jim is on the right track to limit the issue to one we can hit with a big hammer. But that's just MO.

I've had a grudge against SCOTUS for ages, and have called my reps more than a few times on this.

I can't promise anything, but I'll do what I can.

HUgh Hewitt & Mark Steyn were discussing the "Nuclear Option" flatulance out of Alzheimer Byrd and his Hitler diary entry...

Is it true West Virginia may be just waiting for the old Klansman to assume room temperature before they rename the state Robertbyrd? Perhaps this is so they will be higher in the alphabet at all the political conventions...

Jim has it covered.

I agree with you about the problem being with the SCOTUS, BUT, we don't get to vote for the Supreme justices, we only get to vote for the congress---and the inactivity of the Republicans and the obstructionist tactics of the dems is keeping any good judges from even getting voted on---

Therefore, I think hitting the congresscritters, especially the senators hard, is also necessary!!!

The only reason I brought up state's rights is because it is a SYMPTOM of the total illness that has taken hold of congress and the judiciary---SCOTUS most of all.

But, I really wish just hitting the SCOTUS would solve the problem--

I will be able to get a flight but might have to share a hotel w/ someone. I am just a poor 21 year old who would LOVE to be involved in my first political protest. Especially one of this importance.

Calmed down now.

Unfortunatly, the courts are generally immune to public opinion. That's the problem. That said.
1. There is grounds for impeachment for 'poor behavior'. To me power grabs are more than bad behavior.
2. Congress needs to be attacked hard on this. The Senate more than the house, but the house as well. I can't help much on the senate, but I can vote Stabmenow outta there in 06.
3. Maybe it's time these tyrants in black robes faced some direct pressure. They ARE supposed to work for the taxpayers and are supposed to follow the constitution. They aren't and that is the problem. They either are extremely ignorant of the constitution, or they don't give a rat's butt about it. I'm betting on the latter.

Santorum will win. There isn't a Dem who can beat him. At least he votes right. I did not back Toomey despite my remarks about Arlen. I voted for Arlen. He is beholdin.
Republicans won't hold anything against Rick. Believe Toomey was more opportunist than conservative.

NOT true. They know the Jackson comment. That's why they won't rule against the 10 Commandments. Even Breyer will join the majority. One of those ruling that no one understands.

I am so disgusted. AND I feel so helpless.

We are doing something about the Mideast. We are doing something about social security.

But we're doing NOTHING about these hijackers of our country in black robes and frankly I don't know where to begin. STILL we have the Democrats blocking judicial appointments, determined to have their way no matter how illegal.

And yes, Frist waffled when asked if he was going to invoke the nuclear option in the Senate. The ONLY hope we ever had, the Republican party now in a majority EVERYWHERE, is too spineless to do anything about it.

Maybe We the People need to take matters into our own hands. Give me dates, times and I'll Blog it every day.
