Illegal immigration is threatening our identity, figuratively speaking.
Literally, too.
As the federal government ponders whether to enforce our immigration laws or just rename this nation "New Mexico" and be done with it, many illegals already are changing the face of America by committing identity theft.
If you think this is a problem only along the porous border from California to Texas, you probably have not heard of John Morganelli. He has been the Northampton County district attorney for 13 years and is past president of the Pennsylvania District Attorneys Association.
Not only are illegals overrunning his Pennsylvania county next to New Jersey; they also are taking on new identities.

And still the government is silent about all these problems surrounding illegals.
We have to remove the incentive for them to do that. Otherwise we'll NEVER find the 10-15 MILLION of them already here. If fact, we MUST give them some kind of incentive to IDENTIFY THEMSELVES!!!!
ANYBODY GOT ANY IDEAS?
Los Yunzeros
I have the solution.
Make them serve some time in a special jail and then deport them. Here is an article I ran across that sounds like what I have in mind.
TO THOSE OF YOU NOT FAMILIAR WITH JOE ARPAIO - HE IS THE MARICOPA COUNTY SHERIFF AND HE KEEPS GETTING ELECTED OVER AND OVER.
THIS IS ONE OF THE REASONS WHY:
Sheriff Joe Arpaio (in Arizona) who created the "tent city jail":
He has jail meals down to 40 cents a serving and charges the inmates for them.
He stopped smoking and porno magazines in the jails Took away their weights. Cut off all but "G" movies.
He started chain gangs so the inmates could do free work on county and city projects.
Then he started chain gangs for women so he wouldn't get sued for discrimination.
He took away cable TV until he found out there was a federal court order that required cable TV for jails. So he hooked up the cable TV again only let in the Disney channel and the weather channel.
will know how hot it's gonna be while they are working on my chain gangs.
He cut off coffee since it has zero nutritional value.
When the inmates complained, he told them, "This isn't the Ritz/Carlton. If you don't like it, don't come back."
He bought Newt Gingrich' lecture series on videotape that he pipes into the jails.
a Democrat, he replied that a democratic lecture series might explain why a lot of the inmates were in his jails in the first place.
More on the Arizona Sheriff:
With temperatures being even hotter than usual in Phoenix (116 degrees just set a new record), the Associated Press reports: About 2,000 inmates living in a barbed-wire-surrounded tent encampment at the Maricopa County Jail have been given permission to strip down to their government-issued pink boxer shorts.
On Wednesday, hundreds of men wearing boxers were either curled up on their bunk beds or chatted in the tents, which reached 138 degrees inside the week before.
Many were also swathed in wet, pink towels as sweat collected on their chests and dripped down to their pink socks.
"It feels like we are in a furnace," said James Zanzot, an inmate who has lived in the tents for 1 ½ years. "It's inhumane."
Joe Arpaio, the tough-guy sheriff who created the tent city and long ago started making his prisoners wear pink, and eat bologna sandwiches, is not one bit sympathetic He said Wednesday that he told all of the inmates: "It's 120 degrees in Iraq and our soldiers are living in tents too, and they have to wear full battle gear, but they didn't commit any crimes, so shut your damned mouths!"
Way to go, Sheriff! Maybe if all prisons were like this one there would be a lot less crime and/or repeat offenders. Criminals should be punished for their crimes - not live in luxury until it's time for their parole, only to go out and commit another crime so they can get back in to live on taxpayers money and enjoy things taxpayers can't afford to have for themselves.
To work doing what? Stealing identities? The judge should be incarcerated.
"In the last six months, 5,000 OTMs ("other than Mexicans") were stopped trying to enter this country, he said. "Many spoke Arabic languages.
Here to work too, I presume. .....just like Muhammad Atta and his bunch.
Illegal aliens make up 25 percent of the violent criminals in the national prison population, Morganelli said.
A staggering figure.
The thing is it's not only the right that is upset about the majority of our legislators who are ignoring this so important issue. Many in the political center and even some on the left are concerned and want this crap to end. We are being ignored. Yes, even by the administration we have all worked so hard to reelect.
This is why I had to hold my nose to vote for baby Bush. He was the lesser of evils against Kerry and Gore, but in many issues he is no better than a liberal. He has a defacto open borders policy and proposed a defacto amnesty for illegals.
We are doomed. Unless the people do something about it. And I don't know what to do.
I like this guy.
I will content myself with the hope (fantasy?) that GWB's "guest worker" program is only phase 1 of a plot to get the millions and millions of illegals already here to identify themselves. ... and then... ?
Michele Malkin is saying illegals are partnering
up with al quida to form new dangerous gangs to
hijack cars here in the U.S..
On Fox Now!
Does anyone know if Gonzales was born in Mexico or was he an "anchor baby" or born to US citizens?
BTT
Sheriff Arpaio should be put in charge of the Federal Prison System. He has probably inspired more criminals to go straight than the entire "rehabilitation industry." I know it isn't politically correct, but punishment DOES work. This guy is great!
And you people thought we Texans were just bigots.
Make em pull goatheads and sandburrs all the way back to Mexico. Water and food ok as long as they pull the damn sandburrs. Next time they come back same thing only barefoot.
Here is another article on Morganelli. I've heard him speak, and this effort may well be from the grass roots because not enough of the powers that be are paying attention.
