And still the government is silent about all these problems surrounding illegals.

illegals already are changing the face of America by committing identity theft.

We have to remove the incentive for them to do that. Otherwise we'll NEVER find the 10-15 MILLION of them already here. If fact, we MUST give them some kind of incentive to IDENTIFY THEMSELVES!!!!

ANYBODY GOT ANY IDEAS?

I have the solution.

Make them serve some time in a special jail and then deport them. Here is an article I ran across that sounds like what I have in mind.

TO THOSE OF YOU NOT FAMILIAR WITH JOE ARPAIO - HE IS THE MARICOPA COUNTY SHERIFF AND HE KEEPS GETTING ELECTED OVER AND OVER.

THIS IS ONE OF THE REASONS WHY:

Sheriff Joe Arpaio (in Arizona) who created the "tent city jail":
He has jail meals down to 40 cents a serving and charges the inmates for them.

He stopped smoking and porno magazines in the jails Took away their weights. Cut off all but "G" movies.

He started chain gangs so the inmates could do free work on county and city projects.

Then he started chain gangs for women so he wouldn't get sued for discrimination.

He took away cable TV until he found out there was a federal court order that required cable TV for jails. So he hooked up the cable TV again only let in the Disney channel and the weather channel.

will know how hot it's gonna be while they are working on my chain gangs.

He cut off coffee since it has zero nutritional value.

When the inmates complained, he told them, "This isn't the Ritz/Carlton. If you don't like it, don't come back."
He bought Newt Gingrich' lecture series on videotape that he pipes into the jails.

a Democrat, he replied that a democratic lecture series might explain why a lot of the inmates were in his jails in the first place.

More on the Arizona Sheriff:

With temperatures being even hotter than usual in Phoenix (116 degrees just set a new record), the Associated Press reports: About 2,000 inmates living in a barbed-wire-surrounded tent encampment at the Maricopa County Jail have been given permission to strip down to their government-issued pink boxer shorts.

On Wednesday, hundreds of men wearing boxers were either curled up on their bunk beds or chatted in the tents, which reached 138 degrees inside the week before.

Many were also swathed in wet, pink towels as sweat collected on their chests and dripped down to their pink socks.

"It feels like we are in a furnace," said James Zanzot, an inmate who has lived in the tents for 1 ½ years. "It's inhumane."

Joe Arpaio, the tough-guy sheriff who created the tent city and long ago started making his prisoners wear pink, and eat bologna sandwiches, is not one bit sympathetic He said Wednesday that he told all of the inmates: "It's 120 degrees in Iraq and our soldiers are living in tents too, and they have to wear full battle gear, but they didn't commit any crimes, so shut your damned mouths!"

Way to go, Sheriff! Maybe if all prisons were like this one there would be a lot less crime and/or repeat offenders. Criminals should be punished for their crimes - not live in luxury until it's time for their parole, only to go out and commit another crime so they can get back in to live on taxpayers money and enjoy things taxpayers can't afford to have for themselves.

In a recent raid, 27 illegal aliens were arrested, Morganelli said. "Not one was detained even though they had stolen identities. The county judge said they only were here to work."

To work doing what? Stealing identities? The judge should be incarcerated.

"In the last six months, 5,000 OTMs ("other than Mexicans") were stopped trying to enter this country, he said. "Many spoke Arabic languages.

Here to work too, I presume. .....just like Muhammad Atta and his bunch.

Illegal aliens make up 25 percent of the violent criminals in the national prison population, Morganelli said.

A staggering figure.

This is why I had to hold my nose to vote for baby Bush. He was the lesser of evils against Kerry and Gore, but in many issues he is no better than a liberal. He has a defacto open borders policy and proposed a defacto amnesty for illegals.

We are doomed. Unless the people do something about it. And I don't know what to do.

The high costs of low-priced produce

By Dimitri Vassilaros
TRIBUNE-REVIEW

The more you learn about illegal immigration, the less you should like it. Chances are you never cared much for it in the first place.

The Migrant Education Program gives you 897,000 more reasons to be disgusted by the stealth invasion from Mexico.

Taxpayers paid $393,600,000 last year to educate many of the roughly 900,000 eligible offspring of migrant workers in America. All of whom could be in this country illegally.

"Could," because thanks to a U.S. Supreme Court ruling in 1982, Plyler v. Doe, the government is not even allowed to ask parents if they are here illegally before they sign up for the government program.

Children ages 3 through 21 are entitled to a free education just because they are here. Even if the 21-year-old is married. And has children.

Services include tutorial programs, after-school extended hours, summer programs, in-home programs, health and social support services, parental involvement, advocacy, language arts and, of course, enrichment.

What? No frequent-flier miles on AeroMexico?!

The MEP "Artistas del Verano" program is "to increase the self-esteem and cultural awareness of migrant teenagers through the visual arts and academic enrichment. Participants were encouraged to study their own culture and bring to the design of the murals an image or icon to represent themselves."

The College Assistance Migrant Program is "a federally funded program designed for first-year college students from migrant and seasonal farm worker families. Pennsylvania's CAMP program is located at Penn State University. Established in 1972, CAMP has been available at Penn State since 1993. CAMP offers pre-college transition and first-year support services to help students develop the skills they need to stay in college and graduate."

High school dropouts do not fall through the cracks. They are offered alternatives, according to Suzanne E. Benchoff, director of migrant services. She oversees the implementation of the program in 30 Pennsylvania counties.

"We offer Web-based cyber schools to earn a Mexican high school diploma. They are provided with laptop computers, and our centers have high-speed DSL and T1 lines."

Ay caramba.

Apologists for illegal immigration (usually leaders of the two dominant political parties) tell you that foreigners are needed to do the work that lazy Americans will not do. snip.....

Finally a spade being called a spade. US immigration laws and policing as they are practiced now in fact aid and abet criminal behavior and therefore those responsible are complicit in that crime. A felony I might add.

"Ninety-five percent of the identity theft cases in Northampton were committed by illegal aliens..but when we call immigration officials, they could not care less."

Document fraud is totally out of control. As another poster asked, why are our driver's licenses hologramed and security stripped while Social Security cards remain copyable/alterable by any schmoe with a scanner, printer and paint program?

"Unbeknownst to him, an illegal alien was using his identity for six years," he said. "The victim could not prove it was not him working in those states. A federal tax lien of $42,000 was placed on his assets. Creditors also placed liens. He could not qualify for loans because of his supposed bad credit history. It was a mess."

Yet fearless leader wants us to allow illegal aliens to tap into our unstable (some say fictional) Social Security funds. That they need only "prove" 18 quarters while we citizens are required to work 40 tells me our President believes these criminals are more worthy of our hard-earned benefits than we are.

"The county judge said they only were here to work. They were released one week after being picked up."

Living up to the cliche' of activist judiciary legislating from the bench, free from any censure or accountability.

Illegals also are destroying the quality of life for everyone near them. "We have areas with large concentrations of illegals, 30 to 40 in a house," Morganelli said. "They usually wait outside to be picked up for work. And sometimes they try to lure in little girls. People are sick about it."

What does it take to spark public outrage nowdays? How many atrocities does it take?

As the federal government ponders whether to enforce our immigration laws or just rename this nation "New Mexico"

No we already have a state with that name. I heard they were going to rename the USA Aztlan.

We may have lost the war for our very survival, at the apex of our relative power in the 1960s, when the Leftists sensitized so many Americans against racial and ethnic identification. But those of us who are both rational and sane know that there is absolutely nothing wrong with any people trying to preserve their identity, culture, lines of descent, or anything else that is rightfully theirs.

I believe the immigration issue may well determine what percentage of our populations are still rational and sane. That determination is also the ultimate test of whether or not America survives as a nation, rather than as the mere nomenclature for a Continent.
