This is why I had to hold my nose to vote for baby Bush. He was the lesser of evils against Kerry and Gore, but in many issues he is no better than a liberal. He has a defacto open borders policy and proposed a defacto amnesty for illegals.

We are doomed. Unless the people do something about it. And I don't know what to do.

And I don't know what to do.

I will content myself with the hope (fantasy?) that GWB's "guest worker" program is only phase 1 of a plot to get the millions and millions of illegals already here to identify themselves. ... and then... ?

Here is another article on Morganelli. I've heard him speak, and this effort may well be from the grass roots because not enough of the powers that be are paying attention.

Morganelli's fight against illegal immigrants heats up (PAC to Support Anti-Amnesty Candidates)

John M. Morganelli has gone global with his fight against illegal immigrants, drawing criticism from immigrant advocates.

Northampton County's outspoken district attorney recently formed an Internet political action committee, with which he hopes to support like-minded candidates for political office.

The Web address for Us Securing America PAC is http://www.usapac.us . Morganelli said he registered the site a few weeks ago.

''Hopefully, if it catches on, we'll be able to support candidates'' who are concerned about the growing number of illegal immigrants in the country, he said. http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1294468/posts

Talking about it endlessly here on this forum does nothing! What has to happen once and for all if for you as a legal citizen be willing to call,e-mail or otherwise communicate directly with your elected Representative. Many people think that your representative reads the posts here and gets the message....WRONG! They get the message when you take the time to propose directly to them for their short comings. All your representatives have E-Mail addresses posted on the internet. If you want to get action start talking to them directly and remind them they work for you and me and are subject to Recall or IMPEACHMENT if necessary! Then check in here to see if anybody is getting the message! This is the only thing that will get their attention partner. They work for US! No matter how long they have been around they still answer to "WE THE PEOPLE"
