<< I have the solution.
Make them serve some time in a special jail and then deport them. >>
And while we're waiting to round them all up for mandatory incarceration and deportation -- institute a minimum 30% Witholding-Tax Rate on all "'undocumented' remittances."
That'll get their attention.
And see them off!

I like Malaysia's 2002 enactment. If you're caught there working without a permit you face fines of $2,600, mandatory five years in jail and six lashes with a rattan cane. If you house or employ an illegal you get the same.
The day before it went into effect, tens of thousands of illegals lined up to get out of the country.

Yep, that would do it.

Talking about it endlessly here on this forum does nothing! What has to happen once and for all if for you as a legal citizen be willing to call,e-mail or otherwise communicate directly with your elected Representative.<<
You are right, and I'm sure many of us (like me) have done so. The problem is, our representatives are not doing their jobs either.
Governor Perry's office was pretty sympathetic when I called about a couple form Uruguay that paid smugglers to get in the USA, then are being treated like Kings and Queens by local Social Services, but is anything going to be done about it? Not that I can see.
The INS is coddling KNOWN illegals, taxpayers are supporting them, and it looks like Government Agencies meant to enforce the law are just looking the other way!
What do we do about our Representatives not representing us? I know, vote them out, which is whats been done in many places, but you know what? The ones voted in are not doing any better . .

We may have lost the war for our very survival, at the apex of our relative power in the 1960s, when the Leftists sensitized so many Americans against racial and ethnic identification. But those of us who are both rational and sane know that there is absolutely nothing wrong with any people trying to preserve their identity, culture, lines of descent, or anything else that is rightfully theirs.
I believe the immigration issue may well determine what percentage of our populations are still rational and sane. That determination is also the ultimate test of whether or not America survives as a nation, rather than as the mere nomenclature for a Continent.

Persistence and Determination and the willingness to keep on keeping on in the face of frustration is all that will work. I know what you are saying friend and the answer is still not what you are looking for. Building a civilian Army that has credibility that won't be easily ignored is what we are doing here. I have wanted to give up many times but then people like Teddy BARE Kennedy opens their mouths and brings me back to reality and what we are set up to lose! We are BLOOD BOUGHT and not for Sale!

Thanks I needed that.
I will never give up, this country needs those who understand the Freedom of America was bought with courageous blood, and may have to be salvaged with same. It would be better if it did not get to that point, but should the blood of our forefathers have been spilled in vain? I think not.

One of the things not so evident that is hurting this country via these illegals is the large sums of money going out of this country. While Americans are paying for their health care and denying our own, a large part of what they earn is mailed weekly to below the border so their families can party and fiesta it's part of the culture. Yes all of south America is having fun at our expence. No wonder we don't get any respect.
