Sheriff Arpaio should be put in charge of the Federal Prison System. He has probably inspired more criminals to go straight than the entire "rehabilitation industry." I know it isn't politically correct, but punishment DOES work. This guy is great!

Sheriff Arpaio should be put in charge of the Federal Prison System.

I would like to see him set up a string of prisons along the Mexican border designed especially for illegal aliens to serve a one year sentence for immigration violations. During this time they would work like a conservation corps, or maybe building fences along the borders (Canada too). After one year they would be shown to the other side of the fence and sent on their way.
