That is an inference or a deduction which theologians might make. Literalists would have to admit that Scripture makes no injunctions against either counterfeiting or abortion, but they are both obviously wrong.

Let's look at the example of Jesus and the Adultress.

John 8

Now did Jesus forgive her? Yes. Did the sin go unpunished? No, Jesus died for her sin(s) as well as mine and yours. Did Jesus tell her that adultery was OK? No, he made it clear that it was sin and that she should not do it again.

So in light of both Old and New Testaments it is clear that adultery homosexuality and a whole bunch of other things are clearly sin and though we don't need to stone people to death anymore, it doesn't mean it should be tolerated.

If Christ was accepting of homosexuals he would have put Adam and Al or Eve and Gertrude in the Garden of Eden, my Bible says Adam and Eve were in the Garden so imo, homosexual behavior is NOT acceptable.

Jesus did say that he didn't come to overturn the Mosaic Law but to fulfill it. What does the Law say about homosexuality?:

Luke 17:25-32 - But first must he suffer many things, and be rejected of this generation. And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man. They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all. Exodus 21:22&23 covers the case of men fighting and accidentally colliding with a pregnant woman and killing the fetus. They are held responsible and punished, but it is not a capital offense in Judaism.
