45 minutes to go. If there is already a live debate thread go ahead and delete this.
I understand posting a live thread has become a somewhat of a political ordeal here, when it shouldn't be. So to take the pressure off, I'm posting this anyway. Do I dare? LOL!

I have been to churches across Az that have been active for month's ...I'm talking about 10,000 member churches. And they are affiliated with other churches through out the nation...These are not lightweight numbers..They have been organizing for months. This is why Kerry recently has been trying to come across to the faithful...He's a day late! Many of us fell for that in Bill Clinton...It won't happen again.

That comment is rude and unnecessary here, imo.

Bob Shitfer was so one sided. His liberal bias was exposed tonight by the questions he put out.
They were all designed to put Bush on the defensive.
He even made up a question on the spot...based on a bogus claim that Kerry had just made.
AND BUSH HANDLED ALL THE QUESTIONS VERY WELL.
Not only was he able to answer them in a way that showed that SHITFER's hypothesis was wrong...and Kerry's comment was wrong...But he was also able to sell his plan...and explain the plan.
Good Job.
To: reformedliberal
Kerry literally looked like a vampire in the final two questions.

Did Kerry really say "idear" twice in one sentence?

AMEN!! Thank You, Sweet Lord, for all You have done for our President tonight! (Beautiful picture of our President, Getmeoutta!)

Thank God we're out of the debate cycle. The first debate cost the President a chance to pull away for good but he stopped the bleeding with the VP and the 2nd debate and helped himself tonight, albiet with a smaller audience, but it should at least keep everybody from being complacent the next 20 days,
To: hershey
Too bad Kerry's mama forgot to warn him about the lack of integrity represented by using the sexuality of your opponent's daughter to score political points. Guess she didn't have time.

I'm just an old lady, but if I had a grandson the right age and he brought home one of the Kerry skanks, I'd be depressed. If he brought home Barbara or Jenna, I'd be teaching her how to make his favorite recipe.
I know men see things differently, of course. But the Bush girls are the sort of girls you could bring home to granny with full confidence.
To: Torie
One hanging curve ball Bush missed was to note that Kerry seemed to have spent his tax increase several times, on more money for education, on more money to inspect every container, on more money for folks on the border, on more money to subsidize health insurance for millions more, on more money to bail out social security, and more money for cops and fireman. I think he spend the same dollars about six times Actually, Tom Brokaw pointed this out after the debate. He asked Bob Kerrey if there was enough in that 1% to cover all Kerry's spending, and Bob said "in a word, no."
To: Wonderama
What commandments is he talking about? Clinton's tenth commandment:
"Thou shalt covet thy neighbor's ass"--
this was just about the only commandment Clinton kept, too!

Yea, whats up with some people on this thread saying he was fair? I thought all the moderators so far have been fair and balanced (more or less). But, this guy was off the charts as a lib and as talking about himself and his opinion (as if we care). He was one of the most biased moderators I have EVER Seen.

The last thing W said was "I am asking for your vote". That's so right. I was thrilled that Bush remembered the basics that Nancy Nuance forgot -- if you want people's votes, you have to ask for those votes!
Funny this point would come up -- Neal Boortz was talking about this just the other day. He said that "asking for the sale" is key to making the sale. It's right out of Salesmanship 101 apparently (Boortz sold jewelry and insurance at different times and seemed to know what he was talking about). I was glad to see the Prez ask for the sale.
