The last thing W said was "I am asking for your vote".

That's so right. I was thrilled that Bush remembered the basics that Nancy Nuance forgot -- if you want people's votes, you have to ask for those votes!

Funny this point would come up -- Neal Boortz was talking about this just the other day. He said that "asking for the sale" is key to making the sale. It's right out of Salesmanship 101 apparently (Boortz sold jewelry and insurance at different times and seemed to know what he was talking about). I was glad to see the Prez ask for the sale.

Exactly what I said to my husband (we are both in sales)...He asked for the business! He closed the sale...

Bush always asks for the vote. I've seen him in person 3 times and he does it every single time.
