Cheney won this debate hands down.
Edward's inexperience was really obvious. He looked weak and nervous.

Don't be fooled by all the ridiculous screaming cheerleaders and koolaid brigade, Edwards performed well, he's a good liar and lawyer, has landed some blows, and somewhat blunted a few of what could have been devastating attacks from the VP.
Luckily the VP for the most part was also on his game, was aggressive, and at times quite well at exposing some of the lies and techniques of the Dems. Good mix of defense and offense from the VP, but also effective change-the-subject bullcrap multitopic bombardment of lies from Edwards. Overall I'd score it advantage Cheney, the Dems did not improve their situation, but didn't lose much either, being able to hammer out many of their repeated myths without having them refuted and exposed one by one.
Probably result will be a slight rebound strengthening of the GOP numbers, and little change in the Dem numbers. We're probably still at about a 5 pt. lead.

That's a good question. Of course his implication was that Cheney was lying. It escapes Edwards that people aren't as stupid as he takes them for.

Actually Gwen and Condoleezza Rice are extremely close friends. She is not a monkey as you believe and she is very much trying to be fair and balanced. As a matter of fact, wouldn't you want her to appear to be just as hard on cheney as edwards so the dems will not say because she's Condi's friend she was easy on cheney?
Get over yourself.

I agree with

Cheney hit a grand slam tonight. Of course, the media will never actually say that, but it's true. Edwards showed his lack of experience tonight IMO. Gwen Ifill did a much better job than Jim "Left Wing" Lehrer did.

As Al Gore has said: There's no reason to get snippy. The Veep finished strong. He kicked the little twerp's butt. All is well. Good night all.

I'd rate his performance an A, not quite an A+, but an A. Good job, Mr. Vice President. I agree. Another solid performance by Cheney. He is definitely one of the good guys.

Will MSM try to spin this as "no clear winner?" Or will they admit the truth?
Flippin channels quickly....Chrissy openly declaring Cheney as the asskicker, and Blitzer on CNN (by way of inflection only) doing the same.
I ain't goin' over to the alphabet networks...you'll have to do that on your own!
