Don't flame me, but wouldn't the ACLU be interested in this? Forged documents to bring the President down.

I am sure Knox is a very nice 86-year-old woman. But her story seems, at this point, to be unreliable.

I respect my elders but I don't think this woman seems nice at all. She is inserting herself into the political process and becoming a character witness when she has no full knowledge of his service. The tipoff was at the end, when Rather said Killian's son and widow dispute the memos, she put her hand to her mouth, and with a devious spit said they wouldn't know. This is the whole point. The Alabama official records are vague enough to allow CBS to "recreate" their version.

Frankly, CBS should be thrown off the airwaves for passing off Recreation Rather as an actual journalist. Thank YOU!

Wasn't there a Col. William Campenni(?)who flew with POTUS that said that the TANG was upgrading from the F-102 to a more modern fighter, and that POTUS didn't have enough time left in the TANG to justify the training time required? Thereby making the physical moot!

Gary Killian on H&C saying Knox was not his dad's personal secty but rather worked for many and wouldn't have the information or insights into his dad. Darn, Sean interrupted instead of letting him finish.

What I find just astonishing is that Rather was interviewing her on the basis of forged documents. He said that there were documents "just like these".

Last night, on H&C, Colmes asked Brent Bozell a question about the charges made against Bush in the docufakes. Bozell looked at Colmes like he was insane (because he is), and said, "I'm not going to discuss the content of forged documents."

This twisted pretzel logic is maddening.

He didn't take the physical because he was apparently not going to fly. It even says so in the memo.

You kinda noticed her constant use of "opinion words" not strict statements....The attorneys must have sat with her for a long time during rehearsal. She made sure she inserted a non-committal word with almost every sentence.

Pity her, she thinks of this as her Fifteen minutes of infamy, her last hurrumpf in life at 86 yrs of age. Sort of like some martyrship on her way to the pearly gates in her deluded mind. Poor thing.

GWB was not "transferred" to Alabama Guard. He was still with TANG, and paid by TANG.

He was merely given the courtesy of being allowed to attend drills there while he was away from base in private employment while in the reserves and so be able to earn points toward his obligation in Alabama.

He couldn't "miss" drills there. He couldn't be AWOL there.
