Kweisi Secretary Paige Still Waiting for the Phone Call
NAACP ^

Posted on 09/15/2004 4:28:10 PM PDT by Sthitch

Kweisi Mfume, President and CEO, National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) said today that an invitation to Secretary of Education Rod Paige to speak at an Ohio NAACP dinner was not withdrawn at the request of the NAACP national office.

Mfume said: "I found out about this matter on late Friday and I am appalled that something like this has taken place without my knowledge or authorization from my office. There was no directive given by the National NAACP to withdraw an invitation to Secretary Paige. The decision by the Ohio State Conference of the NAACP to invite and then dis-invite Secretary Paige to an event this past week was wrong and there is no other way to say it. I will reach out to Sec. Paige on Monday morning to personally and publicly apologize for this matter. Differences of opinion must never come in the way of common courtesy or common sense."

I know that the uninviting of Secretary Paige has been brought up in the past. Just a little update, Kweisi still has not called. My wife is a senior staff member to the Secretary and she told me when she got home still no call.

Tell your wife not to hold her breath, the National Association for the Advancement of Commie Pukes is a bigotted organization. If you're not red through and through, they want nothing to do with you.
