Dead on, my friend. That is their ploy EXACTLY.

Liberals rationalize inventing or using phonied-up documents by convincing themselves that the substance of the phonied-up documents is true.

Is FR running slow for anyone else today?

Yes, I think it's due to all the coverage FR is getting due to this story.

You and I discussed this before; they are a government-in-waiting, if not a shadow government, manipulating news, documents, leaks, etc.

Can you give me a synopsis of what Rush has said today; I've been out of the loop, so any new REAL facts would be appreciated.

Yes, it seems VERY much like a bimbo alert squad activity of hers. But will it ever be tied to her? And would it endanger her campaign for president, now scheduled to go into full court press mode, on november four?

This hoax was outed SO FAST that the MSM and dims can't just say, "Old news, just move on". It was meant to be their main story for a while, until the next smear came out.

And my immediate question to McAwful would be:

"So, you're accusing the Republicans of creating a document that disparages Bushes record? Wouldn't it be in their better interests to create documents saying that Bush was exceeding performance?"

They missed the mark this time with that logic because the information in the docs was not that serious anyway, even if the docs were real.

The seriousness of the charge now is, "WHO FORGED DOCUMENTS".

Rush said that cybersoldiers like Howlin, KCTanker and Buckhead have struck the Achilles heel of big media and that their life is effectively over. ;^)

He brushed on the internet link, I hope he expounds upon that later

Tom Harkin, who has got to be the biggest idiot chip in the whole idiot cookie, was on Fox this morning. He was saying that Bush still needs to answer charges of why he didn't take his physical, why he didn't report for duty in Boston, and some other totally bogus charge that I can't remember.

He didn't report for duty in Boston BECAUSE HE WAS ALREADY HONORABLY DISCHARGED, STUPID. And he didn't take his MEDICAL BECAUSE HE HAD BEEN EXCUSED FROM TAKING IT.

How in God's name do people in Iowa look themselves in the mirror knowing that this sorry excuse for a human being represents them?

In a world without internet...this story would have taken six months to fall apart. The national media would have owned the story and GW would have lost 5 percent of his votes within two weeks.

There is no doubt that internet can now square wrongs within 48 hours...and lay corrupt news organizations on the side of the road. Dan Rather's career just got flushed by the internet. Just think where we would be if this was 1989 and no internet?

I know we had the usual suspects collared. The DNC/Kerry/Sling Machine. CBS trying to save face, executing plan B, when caught. I will refer to the kerry campaign doing what it knows best, "Fu-king Up By The Numbers." Kerry might as well commit hari-kari with a dull spoon. To all the (Freepers who helped uncover this fogery, you are totally outstanding and true American Patrioits). Truth, Honor and Integrity it's the Freepers Way.

DUmmie Quote of the Year: Oh, please. Like a bunch of amateurs on the Internet would be able to figure out something that CBS News stuck its neck out over and never thought to investigate. Riiight.

Why yes, thanks to Buckhead, Howlin, Mr. Robinson, and thousands of other patriots who care.

I know the feeling. This is even better with you having been at Ellington. I cannot find one piece of paper with a post office box. No way would any AF unit pay for a post office box and no way would the post office give them one for free IMHO.

I have been going through boxes here at the house from the Air Force during those years and even found an AF Pamphlet 13-2, Guide for AF Writing, from 1 Nov 1973. No zero before the day in any of that document either and it is pamphlet from the AF. I cannot believe we saved that as it has been moved all over the Country -- went through boxes that I never have gone through since the moves started in 1980 -- just got moved from place to place unopened and retaped with a new number on them. I started opening late last night.
