Do you have any pets that have made an impact on you personally? Kerry: I have always had pets in my life and there are a few that I remember very fondly. When I was serving on a swiftboat in Vietnam, my crewmates and I had a dog we called VC. We all took care of him, and he stayed with us and loved riding on the swiftboat deck. I think he provided all of us with a link to home and a few moments of peace and tranquility during a dangerous time. One day as our swiftboat was heading up a river, a mine exploded hard under our boat. After picking ourselves up, we discovered VC was MIA. Several minutes of frantic search followed after which we thought we'd lost him. We were relieved when another boat called asking if we were missing a dog. It turns out VC was catapulted from the deck of our boat and landed confused, but unhurt, on the deck of another boat in our patrol.
ROFL!!!!
And how did this go down with those top N. Vietnam negotiators he met in Paris on at least two treasonous occasions.....enquiring minds seek to know....?
And is said dog featured with John F'n "flip-flop fop" Kerry in the N. Vietnam war museum along with other John F'n "flip-flop fop" Kerry photographs.....?
Bwaahaaaaaa......Rofl......the must funny thread I've ever read...Gawd, stop...my sides are hurting....
LOL,
Be well Joe, me ruv your reary....bwahaaaaa.....and rongtime.....
just damn.
And they lived? It didn't sink? Some mine....
Have any of the Swift Vets confirmed this story?
Ah Ha!! That dog didn't serve with Kerry because it wasn't even on his boat.
So how could it even know anything about Kerry did that day.
Just goes to show, some dogs will do anything to distort Kerry's record.
A mine went off, hard, under a swift boat? The result of that would have been no more swift boat.
No, the dog is still alive, I've seen her on the stage with Kerry at rallies, she pushes reporters around and tells them to "shove it"
"Several minutes of frantic searching..." coupled with the catapulting of a dog into another boat.
How far away could that boat be such that "several minutes of searching" could not allow the dog to be found, yet still allow it to be unhurt upon landing?
My hero.
This is a most LOL thread. The best in a long long time. John has truly earned his middle name 'Fraud"...
That mutt has the same look on it's face as Tarrr-eee-za.
lol!
Jim, congrats. This is one of the funniest threads ever.
Check out this LOL thread.
Come on, give us the answer. I'm going to bed.
Found this Post on WSJ Opinion.
"Everyone knew Kerry was a pet lover, but this is the first we've heard of his having served in Vietnam."
Very good point.
How about...Real strong commie connections?
One more little known Fact:
The dog eventually got itself blown off two more boats, and was immediately shipped out of Vietnam.
It then traveled the world where it told of massive abuse, and later wrote a book "Winter Canine" on how animals got their ears and genitals cut off, or were shot.
