News flash from the Kerry Campaign trip in Florida ... as the Kerry motorcade left the hotel, John Kerry flipped the bird to a Swift Boat Veteran Against John Kerry. Our SBV exclaimed "That is what I came here for!"
Evidentially JFK didn't catch TehRAYza's speech last night!
My report is hearsay, true. But do we always require sworn eye witnesses? Let's see if I can clarify my report to your standards. In the event under discussion, I guess what I can credibly say is that "a purported Swift Boat Veteran claims that John Kerry or someone that looks remarkably like Kerry extended his middle finger (unknown if right or left hand) in the general direction of the alleged Vet." Better? I report, you decide. Or is that "I assume, you decide?"
But also consider that even if the omnipresent media did not capture the alleged incident, what is the probability that it did in fact occur, especially given the animosity between JFK and the Swift Boat Vets? better than even IMHO.
bumpy bump
Lets see the video.
I wouldn't report this story either. It doesn't mean I am pro-Dem.
If I could get the vet, as well as the vet from NC, put them through a lie detector test in which they passed....then I would interview them on the air.
But not before then.
So flipping birds is also among the flippings and floppings of Outhouse Turkerry. Is there no end to this boy's talents?
Tahreeza= Hillary on steroids.
Needs a pic.
I don't think "dmz" called you a liar - you DIDN'T actually see it, did you?
This is what's called "hearsay."
No doubt true, but hearsay nonetheless.
He got himself 4 Purple Hearts - one for a "bandaid" cut and skipped out early.
I went to Ted Sampley's booth this morning to arrange a wholesale purchase of his anti-Kerry stickers for distribution over the summer. He told me that he heard that Kerry snuck over to The Wall for a photo-op early this morning while it was raining and no vets were around. Sampley immediately went over there and approached Kerry with his hand extended. As Kerry took his hand, Sampley opened his vest to reveal his "Stop Hanoi John Kerry" T-shirt and then said, "Mr. Kerry, my name is Ted Sampley and I'm here to escort you from The Wall." Mr. Kerry's secret service agent then stepped in and Kerry gave Sampley the "Bird." Mr. Sampley's response was, "Very Presidential!"

Whoa ! Isn't this at LEAST the SECOND time he has done this to a Veteran ?
Kerry Fitness Reports in Vietnam Show Him Unfit for Command
(Explodes Central Kerry Campaign Lie)
Kerrys FITREPs are awash in dings, and some of the reports border on the adverse, particularly his combat FITREPs. The FITREPs convey significant performance problems and suggest problems in conduct, so much so that it is surprising that the campaign chose to release them. This may suggest that the FITREPs held from public view are even more adverse.
In what would customarily be an opportunity for a glowing swan song FITREP, the Commanding Officer of USS Gridley (DLG-21) tacitly blasts Kerry on his departure for Swift Boat duty by ranking him significantly below the norm in desirability for virtually every Navy assignment possible - command, staff, whatever. He is a ship handler who is dinged in ship handling. He is in line for command, but his CO doesnt want him near the bridge. He is slammed in all performance areas - most notably and significantly in initiative and reliability. The nice narrative emphasizes performance in collateral duties, but in the grades and marks, the CO is telling the selection board and detailer loud and clear that this officer is lazy, unreliable and not suited for command. 3 SEP 68 (W.E. HARPER).
Whoops ! I meant to include ya'll there. :^)
Seriesly? Kerry if F-in up all owver the place?

Kerry 'Flips Off' Vietnam Vet
Former Congressman John Leboutillier reports on a
Memorial Day confrontation between Sen. John Kerry
and a fellow Vietnam veteran:
Democratic senator - and certain presidential nominee
- John F. Kerry gave the middle finger to a Vietnam
veteran at the Vietnam Memorial Wall on Memorial Day
morning, NewsMax.com has learned.
Ted Sampley, a former Green Beret who served two full
tours in Vietnam, spotted Kerry and his Secret
Service detail at about 9:00 a.m. Monday morning at
the Wall. Sampley walked up to Kerry, extended his
hand and said, "Senator, I am Ted Sampley, the head
of Vietnam Veterans Against John Kerry, and I am here
to escort you away from the Wall because you do not
belong here."
At that point a Secret Service officer told Sampley
to back away from Kerry. Sampley moved about 6 feet
away and opened his jacket to reveal a HANOI JOHN
T-shirt.
Kerry then began talking to a group of
schoolchildren. Sampley then showed the T-shirt to
the children and said, "Kerry does not belong at the
Wall because he betrayed the brave soldiers who
fought in Vietnam."
Just then Kerry - in front of the school children,
other visitors and Secret Service agents - brazenly
'flashed the bird' at Sampley and then yelled out to
everyone, "Sampley is a felon!"
Kerry was referring to an incident 12 years ago when
Sampley confronted Sen. John McCain's chief aide,
Mark Salter, in a Senate stairwell after McCain
repeatedly offended POW families at a Senate POW
hearing. Sampley, whose father-in-law at that time
was MIA in Laos, followed Salter into the stairwell
and, when they emerged, Salter had a bloody lip and a
broken nose.
Sampley's group, Vietnam Veterans Against John Kerry,
has garnered huge national attention and has been
featured in the New York Times, the Washington Post
and on MSNBC's "Scarborough Country." Tens of
thousands of Vietnam vets have registered their
opposition to Kerry through Sampley's group.
Clearly Sampley has gotten under Kerry's skin once
again.
