What Kerry's statement doesn't say is notable. Nothing to the effect that they believe in his innocence. No words of support. Just some platitudes about how Berger is Kerry's friend and his service to the nation. They threw Berger over the side and pulled up the gang plank in a big hurry.

This is what you get when you embrace treason as a youth and traitors in adulthood.

What his statement says is he does not want Berger to give evidence implicating Kerry.

I thought you added the part "Paid for by John Kerry for President, Inc." - but it is there in the original copy!

Now that Kerry's campaign has been forced to release a press statement acknowledging Berger, it will get even more interesting... heh heh heh

Assuming Berger hadn't told Kerry, how much a friend is Berger?

I really thought Kerry would just say that Burglar was not his advisor, but "his family's adviser".

I thought you added the part "Paid for by John Kerry for President, Inc."

I understand why you might think that, but I always play it straight and honest when posting a story. It's a press release from the campaign posted by Yahoo in it's entirety — including a phone number, for those interested in making their views known to the campaign. (Actually the number is intended for reporters, but what the heck. Yahoo published it.)

Dumb *ss Sen. Nelson says he is sick of the politics in Washington.

Mort on Fox News says Berger is the most honest and honorable person in Washington.

It's all BS!

Because nobody knows what else is going to turn up in Sandy Berger's pants.

Say...what ever happened to that Kerry intern...you don't suppose, do you?

Fair point, Shermy (unless Berger shared classified info with Kerry from the stolen documents, which some Republican senators are asserting).
