June 6, 2004 -- **BREAKING** Dr. Jerry Corsi and Jeff Epstein of Vietnam Vets for the Truth provide additional context and verification for their May 31 report that John Kerry's photograph is featured in the War Protestors Hall of the War Remnants Museum in Ho Chi Minh City. Photographer Bill Lupetti returned to the museum on June 2 to more fully document the layout and scope of the hall titled "The World Supports Vietnam in its Resistance." Their new story, Kerry Museum Photo Documented is now available in our Special Features section.

I hate to say it, my friend, but I don't see this as a particularly damning story, even--or perhaps especially--by Kerry standards.

The photo shows Kerry in Vietnam as part of a U.S. delegation that went at the behest of the Clinton administration in 1993. If the Vietnamese communists want to present that as something that helped their war effort--some 20 years after the fact--they can do that, but it doesn't cast much of a reflection upon the people who attended.

Believe me, I want to see this Com-symp get nailed to the wall for the aid and comfort he gave to the enemy during the war. There's plenty of evidence out there that he did just that, but this ain't it, I'm afraid.

The point of the story is the context of the photo. It's in a room specifically dedicated to honoring those international activists who helped North Vietnam and the VC win the war.

From the article:

The existence of photographs showing Senator Kerry meeting with General Secretary Do Muoi is not in question. In the course of pursuing the POW and MIA issue, it is reasonable that Senator Kerry would seek to meet with the communist leaders of Vietnam. The critical issue is that the Vietnamese communists have chosen to honor Senator Kerry in their War Crimes Museum for his assistance in helping them achieve victory over the United States. The sign outside the entrance to the room where Kerry's photo is displayed reads: "The World Supports Vietnam in its Resistance." Also exhibited inside the room are protest banners and emblems from various nations and photographs of international leaders who supported North Vietnam's cause.

The people who placed John Kerry's photo there knew exactly what they were doing.

It will be back when we least expect it with a new name and a new symbol and all the same blood-stained ideas.

I think they call themselves Progressives now

Or at least that is what George Soros called them during the recent rally they had

"I think they call themselves Progressives now"

They've been calling themselves that for 30 years. There is a group of 60 or 70 of them in congress that call themselves the 'progressive caucus.'

Is this the real reason Kerry has conveniently decided to not "campaign" this week...or...as the jerk claims...out of "respect" for our Gipper's passing?

All the more unfortunate that the caption, which reads, "Mr. Do Muoi, Secretary General of the Vietnam Communist Party met with Congressmen and Veterans Delegation in Vietnam (July 15-18, 1993)", does not mention Kerry by name or call attention to his nefarious activities during the war.

I agree that whoever selected that photograph for display may well have known who Kerry was and what he did, but it doesn't by itself make a clear-cut case against Kerry. Swing voters won't have the patience to connect the dots. JMHO.

I think this says it best:

"It is a fact that in the entire Vietnam War we did not lose one major battle. We lost the war at home and at home John Kerry was the field general."
- Bob Elder, Swift Boat Veteran For Truth

Kerry has been no different in the War on Terror. He has said and done things to continually undermine the current administration and American efforts in Iraq.

Honestly, I rather have Bill Clinton in office. And that's pathetic.

Probably not.

Still, I see this as a war of attrition, in which each drop of evidence of Kerry's perfidy has a small but tangible value.
