Final Note: Why does it take the US Army eighteen months to bring to trial an Islamic Army trooper who killed his own men but it only takes six week to bring to trial a Sergeant who "humiliated" Iraqi prisoners? And while we're on the subject, why is the story of this f*cktard Akbar only covered in the US Army's press releases and nowhere else while the trial of Sgt. Sivits is put on display for the entire world by the media?
This war turns more PC every day, and the libs are winning it.

In this case his lawyers are U. S. Army officers -- not your typical defense attorneys. So maybe we'll cut them a little more slack than we usually give to lawyers.

Well if you don't make it onto the panel, I predict that those who ARE on the jury will reach a decision you'll agree with.

Don't you sign away your rights to a civilian court when you join the armed services ? I thought so.

I think Sivits pled guilty and gave up info on his cohorts... ? Akbar is Muslim and his lawyers will stall as long as possible to drag out the mistreated, discriminated against defense.

Yeah, and there's also a difference between a trial where the defendant is willing to plead guilty and a trial where the defendant wants to contest the charges.
Finally, there's a big difference in a trial that may get a decade of multiple, overlapping appeals with a very fine tooth comb -- this is one trial that needs to be done exactly right so that the results (whatever they are) won't be overturned later.

Yes Sleep Apnea is when you stop breathing in your sleep, however since you never truly reach REM sleep. Narcolepsy is a possible side effect as is heart attacks and strokes, memory loss. Either way, if he feels he cannot stay awake for his trial, make him stand up for the duration or inject him and put this to rest.

Because he know for sure, that he will be convicted in a military court. Tough toenails.

They need to put this guy in an enviornment where he'll wet himself everyday in fear of his fellow inmates.
No matter where this fellow ends up spending time, he's going to do plenty of hard time. I'm sure even hardened criminals are patriotic... some were probably even soldiers.
There isn't a prison in this country where he'll be safe, nor is there a jury that will set him free.

To: The Brush
If he's convicted he'll wait out his time in a military prison. So yeah, fellow inmates will all have a military background. But don't worry -- he might be due for a lethal injection some day, but I can assure you that no one will make him wear panties on his head.

but I can assure you that no one will make him wear panties on his head. Well that's good!
Afterall, we all know how sexually insecure these Mohammedans can be.

I wish it was a civilian court. They'd vote to execute him. This could backfire on ol' Akbar. His attorney is hoping to salt the jury with old timers, but they have more military discipline than their younger counterparts. I wish they still hung traitors.
What he has, if anything-because I think he's playing, is narcolepsy. Apnea has something to do with breathing.
The reporters are around, but they're only allowed to write about our enemies in a positive fashion, and our military and administration in the negative.

I doubt it.
The author doesn't appear to know the difference between Sleep Apnoea and Narcolepsy, or between a 'civilian' trial and one that involves non-army service personnel.
