my local affiliate is CBS in NYC, they aren't raising cain with anyone. The NFL makes a lot of cash from people subscribing to that satellite package, I think it costs me $149 per year.

What was up with that Aerosmith as shuttle astronauts segment anyway? I found it extraordinarily offensive to see that on the 1st anniversay of the shuttle disaster.

I also find it wierd that a Jackson is involved. Especially in light of the abuse allegations going on regarding another Jackson. You'd think they would have thought this out a bit. But they just don't care.. do they! Look at it this way -- Janet gets a two-fer out of it -- she gets the publicity off her brother, and she gets attention to her, well, sagging career!

They prerecord the show several day ahead of time. They practice to the recording so that it will sound live. I have industry experience with this and can tell you he was lip-synched.

Disgusting. We were at a party with quite a few kids (toddlers through teens.) All the parents' jaws dropped..we couldn't believe what we were seeing.

This was another deliberate JACKSON Family assault on the American People to try and involve us all in MICHAEL JACKSON's sexual child abuse case that's currently headed by Media savy ROGER CLINTON Defense Attorney...
...MARK GERAGOS.
The Enemy is now Within...
and always has been.

Hate to tell you, he lip-synched.He looked like he was the only one singing. Too bad if that's true.

Sure, for the next few days everyone will be talking about it, how wrong it was, but nobody will be punished. Exactly!!!! Advertisers WANT to be talked about - to create a Buzz, whether it's for something extrodinarily good they did or extrodinarily bad. As long as people are talking.

So being naked and gay in the flag should be alright also. At least this guy didn't cut a hole in it and throw it in a heap on the floor.

Anyone know what the public nudity laws are in Houston?

I'm in Upstate NYS. We're not big on degeneracy up here :) If the local doesn't get any complaints, it'll likely be because no-one tuned in to the halftime show. Everyone I know who was watching the game was going to blow it off and watch something else during halftime.
To: MasonGal
It appears our church's decision to turn off the game during the half time show was a very wise decision.

Perhaps when nameless kid pulls the same stunt at school, his parents can name CBS in a lawsuit for endorsing this type of behavior. I expect the big fad among 14 year old girls will be to flash on school busses. This is the kind of behavior and anti-morality that the left is most comfortable with.

My son who is twelve, had his 1st superbowl party today. They had fun shopping for food, and stuffing themselves.
And then.....
Half-time.
Every parent, of every kid, called me and said, "turn it off"!!
What a cryin shame.

This from the AP:
Entertainer Janet Jackson, left, covers her breast after her outfit came
"undone".
To: Prodigal Son
Not exactly, but adults would usually send the children out of the room before tuning in the Spice Channel. Perhaps not before watching the Super Bowl.
To: All
Like everyone else, I am disgusted to hear about the clothing rip-off (we turned off halftime at our house). I do think that parents should not have allowed kids to watch the halftime show based simply on who was "performing" or who produced it (MTV).
Just the sensual dancing & the explicit lyrics should have been a clue to tune out! Jan
