An ad released by the Biden campaign released this past Thursday pleads with Michiganders to vote for Joe Biden or risk losing “a lot of” small businesses.
The ad The remarks were made by Michigan entrepreneur Joe Malcoun in a one-minute ad that portrayed him as a struggling co-owner of a live music bar in Ann Arbour.
Malcoun blamed “Trump’s COVID response” for the difficulties his and hundreds of thousands of small businesses across the country face amid the pandemic.
He warned that if Americans do not back Biden “a lot of restaurants and bars that have been mainstays for years” will not survive.

...Malcoun is actually a well-to-do “angel investor” for whom “money was no object” long before he became a bar owner.Uh, this may come as a shock but wealthy people can own failing businesses.
Not everyone put their whole net worth into one business.
