Buoyed by an uptick in national polling, Donald Trump is expected on Wednesday to outline the reasons he still thinks he can win heavily Democratic New York as he accepts the small but influential Conservative Party’s nomination for president.
Trump, who will deliver an evening address as the Conservatives wind up their convention at the Marriott Marquis in Times Square, “thinks he can win New York, as difficult as that may seem to people out there, if the stars align correctly,’’ a senior Trump campaign operative told The Post.
“New York means a lot to Mr. Trump and he has not by any means given up on the state,’’ the operative said.
Longtime Conservative Party Chairman Mike Long told The Post, “I know how difficult it would be to win this state,” but he added Trump does have a shot.
“Trump’s numbers upstate are pretty good, and they’re pretty good on Long Island, so I don’t think it’s impossible that he could take New York. And I don’t see any real enthusiasm for Hillary Clinton out there, and that’s an indicator,’’ Long said....

Sean, Diddy, Comes, of all people, is now supporting Trump. Trump also has for a GOPer, a fairly large following/support from people who live in Harlem.
Nassau County IS returning to its Conservative roots of yore and shockingly, his support in Suffolk is huge! He's got Staten Island sewed up, swaths of Queens and parts of Brooklyn too. And hell yes, all of upstate ( excluding the college towns ) are all in for Trump.
You bet he has a chance to do a Reagan in N.Y. State!

Those who usually pull off the voter fraud, are NOT as organized, nor as "strong" as they once were. Nor are many of the union members going to vote Dem this time, no matter WHAT the union bosses say!
To win NY. Trump needs to hold Hillary’s margin out of New York City down to 60-65%.
Tough but doable. He has a lot of work cut out for him if he wants to carry his home state.
IA, MO, NH and NV will go Trump.
The same question gets asked about the GOP nominee every 4 years regarding New Jersey. The polls imply maybe it's surprisingly close, could he have a shot?
The answer is "no". Resoundingly.
