Hopefully the Internet and Talk radio are having an effect of turning it around. Sam, that's the only hope we have.

Gee, Longcut,
After reading this post I feel that I might want to do a commercial for Ann Coulter's new book Treason. I cannot really do that though, because I have not yet finished reading it.
What I have read of it though is pretty good stuff. Ms Coulter contends that "McCarthyism" has been nothing more than a fraud perpetuated upon Americans by certain Left Wing zealots who have an agenda which is fundamentally malignant. These zealots are for reasons not understood by myself out to destroy our American way of life.
They are out to undermine America, and the Revolution that the Founders successfully wrought. That fact that is to me so illogical that I wonder about the root of it all. These people with their subversive agendas are not benign. Lets make them pay. We can hit them in the pocketbook. That tends to sting the money grubbers.
You have a lot of us in support of this.

My friends and I are all avid movie goers. We'll even see harmless trash if there's nothing worthwhile showing.
We will NOT be seeing this one. I hope it stays in the theater for just the half-week that the biggest bombs get.

Someone needs to tell these people it's not the 70s anymore.
As to the drug dealing in the military, all I say is I never had any trouble getting anything I wanted. Hello Turkey I'm sending you 50 bucks I need an ounce of hash a week later...bingo.

Yep, unless a lot of people start paying attention we're in trouble.
I just keep running into so many people who don't know what's going on and worse just don't care.

Thanks for your service, Old Sarge.
It's been real frustrating seeing what's happening and there just doesn't seem to be anything one can do anymore.
In Oregon the voters keep passing initatives and the Courts just throw them out or the politicians just ignore them.
The Ballot box doesn't seem to be working any more. We finally get the Republicans in control of the goverenment and they keep passing the Liberal agenda. Makes you feel like just screaming.

Thanks for the pings, LC and Tonk. Not much point in my pinging others because it looks like you two have already pinged everyone I know. :-)
BUT I did send e-mails to those two that Linda posted and had already had some discussions with friends about this sorry excuse for a film. None of them plan to see it either.
I'm with you and everyone else here in hoping this hurts those involved BADLY in their wallets.

C'mon its SATIRE!
Anything's gotta be better than the crap uber-RINO Arnold Schwarzenegger puts out. That guy has all the range of a daisy air rifle. Same goes for John Wayne who NEVER served a day in uniform!
I will withold my judgement until the movie comes out. I myself liked MASH and Apocalypse Now (which wasn't really ABOUT Vietnam in many regards) was based on Joseph Conrad's classic novel "Hearts of Darkness."
I guess according to many on this board, the only crap we should watch would be Iron Eagle or Missing in Action.

BTW: This movie will probably bomb.
Now if only Affleck and Damon would make a few more stinkers and drop off the face of the earth.

It was a pleasure...hehe....to be able to tell them what I thought about it but I doubt they'll be too pleased with what I had to say. LOL! Hopefully others here will do the same. Miramax needs some serious FReeping!!
Bedtime for "Farmer Radu". It's still hard to go to sleep before sunrise but I've been sloooooowly adjusting. hehe!
