A letter to President Bush from Women for a Free Iraq:
February 27, 2003
Dear President Bush:
As women from Iraq who fled our homeland to escape persecution by Saddam Husseins regime, we write to offer our support for your principled leadership. We applaud your determination to disarm Saddam and your commitment to help liberate the people of Iraq. We are daughters, mothers, wives, and sisters whose families and communities have suffered for too long. We stand with you because only the United States and its allies can help the people of Iraq break free from Saddams 34 years of brutal rule.
Those who have taken to the streets with signs reading, No War on Iraq are misled. It is Saddam who has been waging war on the people of Iraq. Every day that this war continues, more of our brothers and sisters will suffer from Saddams totalitarian and racist policies.

Are, do you think the president is going to come here and tell us everything he is going to do? What the date and time of the attack? and a follow up. Will he tell us when he is coming to tell us? And oh yeah, will he change his mind and not come? and why.

Q: "During the recent snow storms neighbors new to some neighborhoods were seen stepping around large mounds of snow to get to their cars. They took advantage of neighbors who actually shoveled snow. What do you think the President will do to stop new neighbors from leaving snow on the sidewalk?" Q; "Will he support legislation passed in Congress to require snow shovel ownership of all new homeowners?"
Meet your approval for some of the dumbest questions to ask Ari??

I hate days like today, lazy, rain, calling for up to 5 inches this afternoon. Nothing to do but watch TV, drink cokes and or read. Pulled out some catfish for supper, will broil it with lots of lemon, garlic, lemmon pepper, I am starting to get hungry.

sigh...it's been one more day already...
I had an early morning appt. at the Imaging Center...for my annual ....um....x-ray of the upper torso of the body..(if you catch my meaning)
...that went fine....the perky young girl who maneuvered me through it was a bit familiar....
...found out she graduated from highschool with my son.....
Then I took Mom & Dad to breakfast....(Mom is in such a fog, she didn't recognize the streets of Melbourne)...
..Then I tried to persuade her to go to the Mall across the street, and find a nice Easter dress.
She said 'No'.
Dad cajoled her into going because she will never buy anything new anymore.
We found some beautiful dresses....and reasonably priced....
..but Mom kept saying....'No'....it's too expensive.....it's too long....I don't need it....I don't want to try it on....
...finally, Dad got so exasperated, he got into a word fight with her....telling her she was a stubborn, hardheaded mule.....
...I'm standing there melting....cause Dad is yelling cause Mom can't hear,( and refuses to get a hearing aid.)..
...the shopkeepers & shoppers were listening!!!
...I had to tell Dad to shush.....and ended up taking them home.
They wanted their naps anyway....and it was time for Price is Right....
...sigh
I will now take a nap....then exercise...
Later, I'm meeting some girlfriends at a seafood restaurant to celebrate one of them turning ....50!
Have a nice day all....
AND....YAY....PARTIAL BIRTH OVERTURNED!!

They're out campaigning. You expect them to be doing the nations business??????
Actually, we are all safer when these three are out of town.
To: ABG(anybody but Gore)
Thank-you so much. That was a great read. Sen. Santorum almost (need I repeat, almost) makes up for the other Senator from Pennsylvania.
To: Pippin
Are you holding your own over there in Maryland? Have I told you Mr HOB was raised in Maryland? A nice, conservative, Republican fellow born in DC and raised in that liberals' haven of Maryland!
Are you doing ok there?
To: gulfcoast6
You should start getting it pretty soon. Temp was in the upper 70's at noon. Now at 61 with 15-20 mph winds out of the north. I think the weather folks missed that part.
