Colorectal cancer is the second leading cause of cancer deaths in the US, but its target population is changing.
While rates have steadily decreased for more than a decade in adults over 65, cases among another population are suddenly exploding.
Now, scientists are racing to understand why this shift is happening — and why these new cases are so aggressive.
You may have seen that colorectal cancer is rising among people younger than 50.
However, new research reveals that this increase is most dramatic among a younger population within that group: kids aged 10 to young adults in their early 20s.
In fact, one study shows that the younger the group, the more stark the increase: colorectal cancer (CRC) surged a shocking six-fold in kids aged 10 to 14 from 1999 to 2020.
The disease more than quadrupled among teens 15 to 19, and almost doubled in young adults aged 20 to 24 during the same time period.
Another study showed that during that time frame, CRC incidence was relatively stable from 1999 to 2012. Then, incidence among children ages 10 to 14 began climbing at an estimated 70.54% annually from 2012 to 2015 — a rate that compounds to a nearly 400% increase over those three years.
But rising cases are only part of why these colorectal cancer trends are so troubling.
Why colorectal cancer appears differently in younger patients Experts are concerned not only about the rising rates, but about how different the CRC behaves when younger folks develop the disease.

Safe, and effective.
Very, very effecitve.
Go look at the ingredient list to “Takis” and you might find one of the culprits.
This wouldn’t have anything with the schools encouraging little children to “explore” their orifices would it?
What’s causing these changing trends
Experts still don’t know what’s behind these changes. But they suspect that lifestyle factors such as eating ultra-processed foods, lack of exercise and obesity are big factors in why CRC is rising in such young populations.
“began climbing at an estimated 70.54% annually from 2012 to 2015 “
clearly the Covid vaccine.
scientists are racing to understand why this shift is happening —Bahahahaaha...scientists are racing to cover up the clot shots.
Go look at the ingredient list to “Takis” and you might find one of the culprits.
It’s two things: (1) Type II diabetes and (2) HPVirus from anal sex.
Takis?? That’s scary. My grandson devours flamin’ hot cheetos. Probably the same thing.
So yeah.
That would mean that a 400% increase would have been.....
Don't be shy. Shout out the answer as it comes to you.
I just can’t imagine what has caused such a change.
There is a new MRNA based flu shot out now. Very safe Very effective. Think I’ll run out and buy 1 of those real soon
My youngest son was 43 in 2019 when he was diagnosed with colon cancer (polyps). He had laparoscopic surgery. They took out most of his colon and over 70 lymph nodes. He didn’t have a colostomy. He had 6 months of two different types of chemo, and is still cancer-free. He still goes for regular scans and colonoscopies to keep an eye on his bowel system.
The increase happened long before the clot shot.
There are literally dozens of studies showing its metabolic — people are fat and unhealthy.
The secondary causes are STDs.
I thank God everyday that my two nephews and niece did NOT get the covid shot..they all had covid multiple times but NO shot thank God!! My nephew is 11, he goes to the bathroom a lot to poo, he takes after my sister, also a crazy colon so I think its genetic, I just dont know how safe it would be doing a colonoscopy on such a young kid, plus he’d refused he’s terrified of needles he’d never get sedated anyway
My conservative sister worked in Healthcare around this time (imaging tech) and the doctors she spoke with wouldn’t get it. They knew.
Research, research, research!
Sadly so.
—— from 1999 to 2020——
Exactly: the crap they eat and the shots they were forced to take.
