A dozen teens were shot after gunfire broke out at a chaotic birthday party gone awry inside a Georgia park Saturday night, according to local authorities and reports.
The shots broke out around midnight at Carolyn Crayton Park in Macon, where a “large gathering” had congregated following a birthday party at a nearby Airbnb, the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office said.
Two of the victims –- a 17-year-old boy and an 18-year-old boy — were left in critical condition, while the other 10 were listed in stable condition.
The group, which included high schoolers, had been asked to leave that Airbnb during their party, and ended up congregating at Crayton Park.
A separate group arrived at the park, and an argument broke out between them — before gunfire erupted and 12 were wounded, 13WMAZ reported.
Initial reports suggested only 11 people were shot, but a 12th victim ended up limping into a local hospital with a non-life-threatening wound just after noon Sunday.
Names of the victims haven’t been released, but cops said the wounded include four 18-year-old males, five 17-year-old males, two 18-year-old females, and a 19-year-old male — who was the 12th victim.

I used to manage an Air BnB cabin for my dad. I can’t understand how so many unsupervised “teens” were able to rent such a property.
Those aren’t “teens” - they’re white adolescents.
