Ukraine airdrops killer robots behind enemy lines to take out 3K Russian troops in ‘historic moment’

A squad of Ukrainian “kamikaze ground robots” airdropped behind enemy lines have taken out 3,000 Russian soldiers and reclaimed 48 square miles of occupied territory in Donetsk, officials announced.

The secretive mission, dubbed “Operation Vivaldi,” began in May and wrapped up last week, when the Third Army Corps of the Ukraine’s Armed Forces made details of the feat public.

“An historic moment,” it boasted on Telegram Thursday. “The Third Army Corps has begun a new stage of the war with the landing of ground robots.”

The operation recaptured five villages and three settlements in the contested region of Donetsk in eastern Ukraine, one of the two provinces that make up the industrial mineral-rich Donbas that tyrant Vladimir Putin wants to seize.

Russia currently occupies about 80% of Donetsk.

“We’re the first in the world to use this tactic — dropping ground robots,” Gen. Andrii Biletskyi, commander of the Third Army Corps, said on YouTube.

Bomber drones were used to drop the small but mighty unmanned ground vehicles, or UGVs, up to 9 miles behind the Russian frontline.

Cameras mounted atop the four-wheeled robots captured the surprise operation.

The unit completed more than 15,700 missions, targeting Russian command posts, shelters, logistics hubs and river crossings.

I’m not buying what they’re selling. This war is nothing but propaganda from both sides.

“ The enemy expects the threat from the sky, not the ground,” Biletskyi said. “Where the enemy least expected it, dead and wounded Russian soldiers appeared.”

Jeez, you’d think after the first thousand casualties the Russians would get a clue. Or perhaps this story is a vast exaggeration like so many of the claims in this war.

Quick send Ukraine another $27 Billion which he is demanding for this winter. /sarc

This can provide the video to educate Jesse Watters and the others on how AI controlling weapons and robots in a war can affect the outcome without human control.

He’s also naive to believe no nuclear missiles could e involved. In a well documented (and with testimony before Congress) event, a row of individual US nuclear missile silos switched off without human intervention. That was during a flyover of UFOs at night.

Now, with AI able to break into various supposedly forbidden internet entranceways, this nightmare might happen.

From one of the many versions of reports:
Lt. Robert Salas was the one at the console, and one by one, ten warning lights representing the ten missiles of Oscar Flight all blinked on. He scrambled to his feet, and just as he was waking his partner, a phone call came in. It was his topside security team. They said there were strange lights flying around, with a red one hovering right outside their gate. Salas had no time for that, as all ten of his missiles were giving a No-Go signal. An entire flight of the United State’s nuclear arsenal had been disabled, apparently by a UFO. And now, 55 years later, this incident has been cited in the US House of Representatives hearings declaring UFOs a threat to national security, with the ability to shut down our nuclear weapons.

Whether exaggerated or not, this conflict is taking the hell of war to new levels.

It’s difficult to hang your hat on anything that comes out of Ukraine or Russia.

Been thinking the same, but not about UFOs. If AI can crack codes and unsolvable math problems, it can find its way into our strategic weapons network. I’m less worried about what AI would do with that access than I am about the sponsor of the attack.

Security systems are based on the difficulty of finding prime numbers whose multiplication is a number quickly. I think so far AI didn’t make any breakthrough there.

Let’s see. Put them up against the Norks who are fighting there. Program them to speak in their language and get them to surrender. How they gonna kill a Ukrainian if they’re up against R2-D2? Promise them French cuisine.

Oh, I remember that appropriation from last year. 400 million, but a million ain’t what it used to be. A modest house can sell for a million now.

Leo AI ~ Yes, Trump’s administration rushed to obligate nearly all of the $400 million in military aid for Ukraine before it expired on September 30, 2026. As of early this week, $307 million had been committed, with the remaining $93 million planned to be locked in before the fiscal year ends to prevent the funds from being withdrawn. This move comes after months of bipartisan criticism from Congress that the Pentagon had delayed spending the aid, which was approved in December 2025.
