Far-left Democrat Governor Maura Healey is pushing a shocking new proposal that would expand state-funded home visits to the house of every single newborn baby born in the state.
Under the guise of "maternal healthcare" and mental health support, Healey wants government-appointed healthcare providers to physically enter the homes of parents to conduct "assessments" on families.
On Boston Public Radio, after pitching her postpartum package, Healey said this:
“Everybody in the state, when you have a baby, you’re going to have a home visit. You’re going to have a home visit within days, weeks, and that will be an opportunity for a healthcare provider to make an assessment and to see if you need some additional support and resources.”

According to official state announcements, Governor Healey is demanding taxpayers fund a massive $2 million expansion of the state’s “Welcome Family” initiative.

The very idea that any of them believe that the “clump of cells” magically turns into a live human baby the moment the head appears during birth is so utterly ridiculous, so atrocious, so monstrous, so banal, so evil.
And we are supposed to believe they have a Road to Damascus conversion at that very instant? That they suddenly switch from “Kill, kill, kill!” to “we must help the baby” is preposterous beyond belief. It simply defies all logic.

But I wonder who they are going to get to do this. I would imagine some of the homes where newborns are going to are in places most sane people would not want to go.
We cannot afford to fund the schools in our communities. What makes her think this crap is necessary? And when they find kids that “need saving” where are they going to go, who is going to care for them, and what recourse do the parents have?
And on top of that…they will be trying to walk into homes where the residents are not crazy about having “officials” wandering around.
