An Ohio doctor shot dead in a murder plot allegedly hatched by her own 18-year-old daughter had years earlier written an academic paper examining the psychology of teenage killers.
Tamela Dutcher, 55, was pronounced dead at the hospital shortly after she was gunned down by two men as she sat on the couch inside her Delaware County home last week, according to an affidavit obtained by Oxygen.
Her daughter, Bryanna Dutcher, and the two men, identified as her boyfriend Christian Evans, 20, and his roommate Dajameous Payne, 21, have now all been indicted in connection with her murder.
Bryanna's arrest followed a forensic examination of her phone that revealed a damning exchange with Evans, in which the couple plotted the moments just before the deadly ambush, according to documents obtained by WCMH News.
In a chilling twist, Tamela, a central Ohio doctor, co-wrote a 2002 paper for the International Journal of Adolescent Medicine and Health examining violence committed by children.
The paper, published 24 years before her daughter would be charged in her killing, warned that 'children and youth are being killed or are killing at an ever-increasing pace.'
Eerily, it noted that while most offenders are boys, 'those few girls who kill tend to kill family members' – a prediction that would take on new significance decades later.
The horror began on August 14, when a man frantically called 911 to report that his wife had been shot in the face. He could be heard on the line asking: 'What the hell did you do?' according to WCMH.
Around 10 seconds later, he could be heard yelling: 'Oh! What the hell?' after allegedly reporting a second gunshot and seeing someone flee through the front door.

Only question left is who fired the shots, and given the conspiratorial nature of this thing, that may not even matter. Some defense attorney is going to look at all this evidence and plead Extreme Stupidity.

Adolescence was once a time of promise and light. Today, in our society, children and youth are being killed or are killing at an ever-increasing pace. The vast majority of youth arrested for homicide are males. Those few girls who kill tend to kill family members (1). While ethnic and race vari-ables are important considerations, it is socioeconomic status that facilitates the higher rates of violence among minority ethnic groups. Roughly one sixth of all Americans under the age of 18 years are African American; in recent years, approx-imately one half of the youth arrested for homicide are African American. In 1988, over 57 percent of the juveniles arrested for homicide were African American. Approximately 8 percent of the popu-lation in the United States are Hispanic, and Hispanic youth account for almost one quarter of the juvenile arrests for homicide crimes (1). It is widely acknowledged that ethnic groups tend to commit violent crimes primarily within their own groups and it is further acknowledged that minority youth are more likely to be arrested and sent to correctional rather than treatment facilities.
