President Donald Trump attacked CNN’s Kaitlan Collins at Friday’s White House Correspondents’ Dinner — claiming she “never smiles” and comparing her to trans influencer Dylan Mulvaney.
Roughly 10 minutes into a wild, rambling address, the president mockingly saluted Collins — who was presented an award from the White House Correspondents’ Association.
“I want to personally congratulate CNN’s Kaitlan Collins on receiving her award,” Trump said. “It was all about me. It was a fake, she shouldn’t get the award, it was a fake. But I didn’t mind. I said, ‘Kaitlan, congratulations.’ But it was fake, there’s no question about it. But she’s a young, attractive woman. She never smiles. I said, ‘Kaitlan do you ever smile? Smile!’ You have a nice position, you’re at CNN fake news. You should be a happy person. So smile, Kaitlan! Just smile.”
The president went on to compare Collins to Mulvaney — who gained national attention for being featured in a promotion by Bud Light.
“I thought Kaitlan had really made it big with a major new sponsorship,” Trump said. “But then I informed her that it wasn’t her on the Bud Light can, it was Dylan Mulvaney.”

Reagan managed. And he had it way worse. He had the house that was democratic for all eight years. And the Senate was democratic for most of his time.

I became a conservative in MBA grad school during Reagan’s term.
At that time, the Democrat party wasn’t an openly Communist party as it is today.
As I stated, we are at war with Communists & their fellow leftwing islamic satanists: allah=satan.
As much as I like Reagan, Trump has done 10 times what he was able to do.
I'm all for Trump being Trump.
We turned it off. The Prez can give a great speech at times, but last nights seemed contrived and strained, like a bad comedy skit that desperately needs a laugh track.
