President Donald Trump attacked CNN’s Kaitlan Collins at Friday’s White House Correspondents’ Dinner — claiming she “never smiles” and comparing her to trans influencer Dylan Mulvaney.
Roughly 10 minutes into a wild, rambling address, the president mockingly saluted Collins — who was presented an award from the White House Correspondents’ Association.
“I want to personally congratulate CNN’s Kaitlan Collins on receiving her award,” Trump said. “It was all about me. It was a fake, she shouldn’t get the award, it was a fake. But I didn’t mind. I said, ‘Kaitlan, congratulations.’ But it was fake, there’s no question about it. But she’s a young, attractive woman. She never smiles. I said, ‘Kaitlan do you ever smile? Smile!’ You have a nice position, you’re at CNN fake news. You should be a happy person. So smile, Kaitlan! Just smile.”
The president went on to compare Collins to Mulvaney — who gained national attention for being featured in a promotion by Bud Light.
“I thought Kaitlan had really made it big with a major new sponsorship,” Trump said. “But then I informed her that it wasn’t her on the Bud Light can, it was Dylan Mulvaney.”

Maybe President Trump is deliberately pushing buttons for the fake news industry. He told the crowd about how they love to hate everything he does. The message was loud and clear. No, it isn’t funny but a fact. He made fun of them. Who has the guts to do that? Most people will only remember a few things about the speech in the long run. The resentment and hatred will continue, regardless of this speech. The President’s people loved it. The people who hate him will continue their resentment. The media will continue to be supported by Woke advertisements. The fake news industry will continue to support Woke programing and Woke advertisements.
Perfect.
Or even, gasp, like a Christian he claims to be.
Something I picked up on. The enemedia spent way too much time patting themselves on their backs wasting Trump’s time, so in return he did the same thing with a portion of his speech. It was rambling and boring. He was wasting their time. On the surface it looked like he was going full Biden, but I don’t think so.
Tell that to George Washington or, hell, Jesus.

You can’t possibly think the speech writers in years past who go after President Trump are better. “He is running as a Republican. Because I though he was running as a joke.” That is classic. And Trump sat there and took it.
Yeah, not the greatest speech, but if he wanted to totally bore those Journalistas , make them squirm, have them under his thumb, to take it just like he has had to take it - it was a MAGA success.
