I also watch a lot of those. We sure live in different times. Back in the day as a heavy footed kid I often was stopped by the cops. I did everything I could to make sure mom and dad DID NOT know about it. It’s no wonder the country is so screwed. Nobody ever has to grow up or take responsibility anymore.
Lord have I heard that one before. I can’t tell you how many times while I was working for the military that some moron tried to force me into doing something either illegal or stupid with the line, “Do you know who I am?”
In my first year active I was involved with the opening of a new fitness center at the base I was assigned to. The NCO in charge of the facility instructed us to ask anyone not supposed to be in an area to leave. I was in one of those rooms and I had to ask a couple of kids out that were not supposed to be there.
The father of one was the vice wing commander went to the NCO and complained that I had asked his son to leave the area. At that point, the NCO told him not to feel too threatened since I had asked his kid to leave, also. Gotta treat everyone the same.

However, the insurer, American Transit Insurance Co., voluntarily withdrew the suit against him and his practice and issued a formal apology.
The federal Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations (RICO) lawsuit, filed in New York in late 2024, alleged that Dr. Hostin and nearly 200 other defendants engaged in fraudulent billing and performed unnecessary arthroscopic surgeries.
