Sunny Hostin DEVASTATED As Police Officers REJECT “The View” Card After ARRESTING HER SON!
YouTube ^ | 07/18/2026 | Black Conservative Perspective

Posted on 07/18/2026 8:40:39 AM PDT by SmokingJoe

This video from Black Conservative Perspective provides commentary on recently released police bodycam footage involving Gabriel Hostin, the 24-year-old son of The View co-host Sunny Hostin.

Key events and points covered in the video:

The Incident: Gabriel Hostin was detained by police in Westchester County, New York, for trespassing on active Metro-North Railroad tracks (4:00 - 4:45). Officers explained that this is a dangerous area where people are frequently struck by trains and that they were performing a mandatory subject stop for safety reasons (6:05 - 6:30, 8:12 - 8:28).

Sunny Hostin’s Involvement: While on the phone with her son during the stop, Sunny Hostin identified herself as a former federal prosecutor and mentioned her son's educational background, including that he is a Harvard graduate, in an apparent attempt to discourage the officers from issuing a citation (5:00 - 5:20, 7:45 - 7:55).

Outcome: Despite Hostin’s efforts, the officers proceeded with issuing an appearance ticket for a trespassing violation. They clarified that this was not a criminal misdemeanor but a violation that would require an appearance in court (11:28 - 11:56, 13:40 - 14:02). The officers emphasized that this was a procedural necessity to deter trespassing and maintain safety (14:38 - 15:47, 16:51 - 17:15).

Commentary: The host of this channel characterizes the incident as an example of "peak privilege," criticizing Sunny Hostin for attempting to leverage her professional background to influence law enforcement and arguing that she and her son should be held to the same standards as any other citizen regarding criminal activity and accountability (2:48 - 3:45, 12:26 - 13:00).

So a 24 year old ADULT Harvard graduate calls his mommy when the police stop him for a minor infraction?

Yeah...who in their right mind plays on RR tracks...or was he walking across in a no walk zone, where people have died? And...so what if he is a “Harvard grad!”

Worse. She initially told him tell the cops that SHE IS A federal prosecutor which wouldn't only being throwing around power, but it's also a lie. She is not a federal employee. Throwing around power she no longer has. She is just a lawyer at this point.

My Mom's policy was to duplicate the punishment meted out by the system. She would have found some substitute for issuing a misdemeanor citation.

She would have been mad as hell and extremely disappointed.

I would hazard a guess that he wished to proceed to the other side.

Sunny Hostin, if a train hit her trespassing son:
“The racist police let this happen because he was black. They would have given a white guy a citation and moved him out of danger.”

“Sunny Hostin, the Emmy Award–winning co‑host of The View and a bestselling author, is estimated to have a net worth in the range of $6–7 million as of 2026”

******** Biggest racist a-hole out there who has a decent platform. She is mental too and paranoid. She has lots of influence and popularity. An evil black supremacist who is pretty damn white skinned. (my opinion) Though amazingly her son came out looking standard black like her import husband from Haiti.

Sunny has 52% American slave root via her very public DNA test. Where she found out she had slave owner n trading ancestors. Her husband zero American slave roots.

When I was a kid, there was a railroad line through north Seattle. (It was turned into a walking/bicycle trail quite a few years ago. The track was active, but not heavily used. It was flanked by an undeveloped area of trees, shrubs, creeks, and ponds, and we used to go on "expeditions" along the track. Once I was startled when a grouse flew up from the underbrush about three feet in front of me. S9ometimes we would do the kid thing and put a penny on the track if we heard a train approaching.

Nobody thought twice about going to the tracks, which passed about three blocks from our house, and we didn't think we were doing anything particularly dangerous because the trains always honked their horns and you knew they were coming. Also, we didn't consider ourselves to be trespassing and I don't recall any signs telling people to keep out.

“Why was he walking across active railroad tracks?”

Good question but I’ve walked tracks occasionally all of my life. It’s easy walking and, and there’s something profound about the railroads and their history and importance to us.

Stack some pennies on the rail.
Pick up after the train goes by.

Original “Parkway” runs Dam to The Bronx. Lots of easy access to the tracks.

Lots of kids “play” around the tracks.
Mostly just stupid kid stuff.
Been that way since forever.

Thanks. I’m surprised how many people think that walking along railroad tracks is such a weird thing. Of course, not all tracks are the same and some are heavily used and don’t offer any scenic attraction. but the one I described in my earlier post was like a getaway in the middle of the city.

That's a slow freight line with infrequent trains. The tracks this guy trespassed on are for faster moving passenger trains that run all day long, and several close together during the morning and evening commutes.
