A Vietnamese factory worker was killed after falling into a giant industrial shredder, with a horrific video showing the moment he was sucked into the machine.
Ro Mah J, 34, was standing inside a large container feeding material into the machine just after 6 a.m. Thursday when his tool suddenly got stuck, local outlet Dan Tri reported.
He frantically tried to yank his tool out of the shredder before being dragged into the machine at the Chanh Tay Gia Lai Joint Stock Company plant, disappearing out of shot.
Seconds later, a spurt of water shot out of the container.

I was wondering how they will ever make a positive ID on that guy
at Denver.
But guys don't pay attention to the second one, so why would they pay attention to the first one.....
I hate the NY Post on my mobile app. There’s nothing but ads that freeze my phone.

search India railroad deaths. Tons of videos showing them getting run over or electrocuted on top of the trains.
At least one person a year gets sucked into an engine here in the US. You can make rules but you can’t get people to understand them.
I’m not watching it, but saw a still shot.
There should have been a heavy duty screen or grate between the worker and the material being slid into the machine.
People who accept jobs like that one, usually have very few other choices. That happens in our country too. Either they don’t qualify for something ‘better’, meaning safer, or such jobs are not open at that time.
OSHA cannot be everywhere and shouldn’t have to be.
It was reported to be a female.
This is horrible (no way I want to watch it); may the poor guy rest in peace.
Additional reports I’d not be surprised to see:
1) This would not have happened without Trump’s trade deal with Vietnam.
2) The deceased’s family has a GoFundMe to help them pay his employer for the lost tool, ruined “product”, downtime, and cleaning the machine.
Or a car. “Farewell, my friends, I am off to love!”
Ok you’ve reminded me my brother worked at a factory with hydraulic presses. A coworker removed the safety harness that is supposed to pull you back before the press comes down. His hand was under the press and was flattened like a large pancake. My brother claimed they used a scissor and cut the pancake free from the guy’s arm.
That was in 1960’s America, not the third world.
The US gun homicide rate is 26 times that of other high-income countries.
You can pay more and get higher quality stuff from industrial sellers instead of discount prices at home Depot. You get what you pay for. My outfit manufactured largest mass production machines anywhere, and we never went to home Depot to buy supplies.
The bad ones are the people working around big lathes with loose clothing. Big lathe don’t care.
The company I worked for manufactured large metal working presses, mechanical & hydraulic. In spite of all the safety devices built into the machines, operators would bypass the safety devices, get injured, and counted on a sympathetic jury to receive a huge amount
There’s a lot of DNA in that splatter.
Well
