While it doesn’t amount to very much, Michigan has somehow managed to get lake effect snow on both coasts. We’re on the outer bands of the stuff currently hitting the northeast.
CC
here in norwood ma just a dusting but the radar looks daunting at the moment.
Forcasts were telling i’d be seeing at least 8 inches right now but just a coating so far.
I’ve seen maybe 9-10” so far here in PA. Every hour I go up to the balcony to push the snow off it. I can’t let it pile up too much or it risks collapse, and it’s easier if I clear it every hour since I can just push it off. I’ll probably be doing so until dawn.
The wind hasn’t been too bad, but it’s shifted to the north and so gusts sometimes slam into me from the side as I’m clearing it. The balcony faces due west.
There’s a big discrepancy between FOX Weather and The Weather Channel. Fox is saying I’ll see another 8” or more, but TWC is saying 3” tops.
No snow on the ground at all, near Pittsburgh.
Praise the Lord, a tiny coating on the cars and just mud.
I’ve no one to plow me out so I’m SO relieved.
lake effect out of unexpected areas. Feels like the Devil is on the face of the earth.
Memories of ‘93 Long Island blizzard reports mixed with lunatic shooting LIRR passengers, mixed with standing on open siding in Bethpage, watching the snow fall increase with time, waiting for the train to finally come to get home to Bohemia, where wife is going nuts ( all in days before cellphones).
Wish y’all quiet, no crazy get through this app hands well.
My daughter and son-in-law live in Conshohoken,
A little north west of Philadelphia,
and they report 6 inches on the ground now,
with 6 more inches forecasted before noon on Monday.
Anyone claiming to have snow is a Global Climate Change denier.
There is an absolute consensus that all the snow disappeared years ago, never to return.
You are in Nevada, why do you care?
I love a good snowstorm.
Here in Guilford CT—or Dullford as I like to call it. Snow coming down, forecast is for 12 to 18 inches here on the CT Shoreline...Oh Joy.
Enjoying some nice wine and listening/recording music off your tube-—I find stuff I never heard before...usually the stuff is way better than ANYTHING that I ever heard before—
too good to be commercially ‘popular”
Tonight REALLY getting into JUNE CHRISTY—simply heavenly—

What part of PA? I’ve got one sister near Lancaster and another near West Chester. The forecast showed West Chester really getting hit.
Be safe. From the banana belt of the Rocky Mountains southeast Idaho. Godspeed.
Southern Delco, not far from Chester.
Upstate NY here (Ithaca area) and we’ve only got a couple inches so far, nothing to write home about.
But my sister’s in south NJ across the river from Philly and getting slammed, possibly as bad a NYC is getting it. The radar is very nasty in those parts and it’s not gonna let up for a while.
But nothing happened. We have a dusting...and winds are pretty quiet.
But it's been a tough winter with temps waaaay below normal.
My granddaughter is in Philly....hunkered down!!
I’m experiencing it from a distance here in N. GA.
I did watch Ryan Hall for a bit yesterday to get a sense of things. Will take a look later later in the AM when I really get up.
Good luck out there, all you folks in it!
