Be nice if a certain billionaire fat cat (cough, cough Musk) stepped up and help out with some private security services. Maybe BigBalz could organize some drones and comms.

Who do you believe would be obligated to pay for it?
Charlie was not a government official or employee.
Who, in you opinion, is entitled to a taxpayer-funded security detail?

FBI does not do security details. In rare cases they will do stakeouts, but stakeouts are not a security function.

Or how about ONE security guy on a tall roof? Who would pay this ONE security guy?

Drones armed with tasers would surely disable any rooftop crawlers.

A few loyal volunteers with drones and radios is inexpensive security

Exactly who would have been paying for the security guard?

Wonder if he received death threats and how credible were the threats to necessitate using drones that would be paid out of Charlie Kirk’s pocket?
To: Java4Jay
A tethered drone or three with HD wide angle cams. I like the idea.
To: gildafarrell
Charlie and family have been receiving death threats for years

Pathetic.
Now you’re blaming Patel for not being in charge of the bodyguard service?
News we can use!
To: Java4Jay
because Charlie was not a high security event

I believe that the idea of something so horrendous happening was never a thought and therefore not planned for. I remember seeing clips of Ann Coulter at events with one or two bodyguards in a room full of demented students and thinking how easy it would be for someone to clip her.
A few loyal volunteers with drones and radios is inexpensive security
I was thinking the same thing - volunteers at each venue coordinating with local law enforcement.
Didn't the Proud Boys used to provide security for Ann Coulter and Tucker? That could be our model on a local level but whoever said here that colleges will demand extra security now, especially for conservative speakers, is correct.

Yeah but if a drone saw someone up there then you’d lose time getting a man up there.
Could’ve had a few guys with rifles oepr whatever up there in the first place.

If there are any more outdoor events there better be drones in the air. As well as security people using binoculars to scan rooftops.

He had a six-man security detail he was paying for himself.
