Let’s see. Independent. Strong. No close friends. Perhaps she is giving off an air of “I don’t need anyone.” Everyone wants to feel needed in a relationship but too often they might interpret an independent personality as one who will treat them as a piece of costume jewelry: fun now but disposable on a whim without regret.
I once had that kind of bravado but, fortunately, I found a good man who showed me what I really needed. We just celebrated our fortieth anniversary last month.

5’11” and 195 is not overweight. That is a big woman but not necessarily a fat woman.
All of my black biracial adopted daughters found husbands. One was model pretty. Quiet and shy. One was more outgoing, religious, an international missionary and and even prettier snd shapeley.
And one found her soul mate a cracked pot who is cracked in the same way she was. All continue in their relationships . All are married two to very successful men . All three own their own houses. One has 6 children, the other 3.
None dated much but then we were more into marriage rather than dates. The bigger middle daughter wondered whether she would find a man and she was blessed with a man who adores her and the family they have created.
Most men and women have been taught to hate marriage and children from childhood. Black women frankly have few options... the black American culture today does not encourage the foundations needed for stable family life.
Yes they all married white men. For they were raised culturally white upper class.
