Spent a couple decades in Texas. One of the “neighborly” friendly gestures I learned, was the beer fridge in the garage, and offering a cold beer to a neighbor who was working his yard on a hot weekend.
It used to be that the beer brand didn’t matter, just a ice cold beer was a welcome break on a hot summer afternoon.
Now, offering a neighbor a Bud Lite, would be “fighting words”. No brand recovers from that.
I don’t watch a lot of TV, but I watch enough to see the general trend of television ads. My only conclusion is that the people making those ads are mentally unbalanced, and the fact that the corporate suits approve these ads shows that they are also mentally unbalanced. They are also clearly under the influence of what Freud called the “super-ego,” i.e., the collective social sense that determines right and wrong and what you can and cannot do or say, and which is today under the sway of the far left.

What they were actually congratulating Mulvaney on wasn't him pretending to be a woman, it was his first year of "girlhood", i.e. pretending to be a little princess. Which placed Bud Light in the position of marketing alcohol to his followers, predominantly minors too young to drink in the first place: it's illegal to do that, by the way, and the BL marketeers should have known that. Not only did they not know their own market, they didn't know their own product or the rules pertaining thereto. Totally unprofessional.
