It’s been more than two years since Anheuser-Busch annihilated its top-selling Bud Light by hiring a transvestite to hype the brand, and the brand has not recovered.
Tee hee.
Dylan Mulvaney, an obvious guy who runs around mocking women by pretending to be the most obnoxious woman on the planet, partnered with Bud Light in early 2023 to hype the brand on social media. The fallout was immediate, brutal, and now we know it might be irreversible.
“Beer sales over the July 4th holiday weekend came in stronger than previously expected,” reports ZeroHedge. “Anheuser-Busch InBev (ABI) also posted a solid performance during the period, though one brand under its adult beverage umbrella remained a clear laggard. Unsurprisingly, it was Bud Light, still struggling to recover for reasons that need little explanation.” [emphasis original]
Over the 4th of July weekend, which delivered weather all over the country ideal for beer drinking, “Anheuser-Busch InBev (ABI) led all manufacturers, with 52% of distributors reporting higher volumes vs last year [but] Bud Light remains a drag—74% reported lower volumes; marketing support remains weak.”
Over this coming weekend, we can all celebrate the two-year anniversary of Anheuser-Busch CEO Michel Doukeris claiming the fallout from the madness of hiring a dude in womanface who performs the equivalent of a female minstrel show was no big deal…

Spent a couple decades in Texas. One of the “neighborly” friendly gestures I learned, was the beer fridge in the garage, and offering a cold beer to a neighbor who was working his yard on a hot weekend.
It used to be that the beer brand didn’t matter, just a ice cold beer was a welcome break on a hot summer afternoon.
Now, offering a neighbor a Bud Lite, would be “fighting words”. No brand recovers from that.
HA!!!
I'm definitely stealing that one.
What if you were like me, not a drinker?.............
Ditto, Ditto, Ditto!
Brilliant!
I don’t watch a lot of TV, but I watch enough to see the general trend of television ads. My only conclusion is that the people making those ads are mentally unbalanced, and the fact that the corporate suits approve these ads shows that they are also mentally unbalanced. They are also clearly under the influence of what Freud called the “super-ego,” i.e., the collective social sense that determines right and wrong and what you can and cannot do or say, and which is today under the sway of the far left.
Madison Avenue is always lagging behind social customs and norms by at least 6-12 months...................
I don't drink hard liquor, but I have been known to drink a beer or two. I limit myself.
But, that same fridge holds an assortment of other soda's (Dr. Pepper, Coke, Sprite, Cactus Cooler, Orange Crush plus the compliment of the Diet variations). Being Texas, there are a lot of Baptist and other non-drinking religions (or those who like me, find it best to refrain). It's just the neighborly thing to do, to respect other people's choices.
Make the offer, and if they decline the beer, then I offer them the menu of other options. Generally, I will drink the same as their choice; this little tradition is meant to build neighborly relationships. We watch out for our neighbors, and this is just a very simply way to build that trust.
I think this is just a good thing to do, no matter where I live, so I keep a fridge in my garage now
Guinness Stout or a black and tan!
Bud Light....in the loafers.
High Heels...............
“Been drinking Miller High Life for 40 years, its good beer and nothing else.”
Agree!
If she has an Eastern European accent ... it’s fine.
back in the day we used to get kegs of Rainier Ale (I don’t think you can get it any more)
it came in green cans. we all called it green death cause it would mess you up really badly I think it was almost 8% which was super high for beer back in the 80s
Well, probably what happened is Bud drinkers drank something else and found they preferred good beer to canned urine.
I notice my ‘Mexican’ neighbors drink BL.
They just go by price........................
Was a beer drinker until about four years back when the price of six pack of beer reached a rediculous level. So I bought the jug wine (either Merlot, Burgundy, or Paisano) and in a large glass put an ice cube, added some frozen fruit (sold everywhere in plastic bags); then it was three fourth jug wine to be topped off with one-fourth cheap bottled Moscato. A cool refreshing drink. However, I now see that the price of wine has increased by at least a third, and packaged fruit by at least a quarter. So, I guess it is time to return to beer.
Don’t order a black-and-tan in an Irish bar, especially on St Pat’s, unless you call it a “half-and-half.”
Of course, if you WANT to pay the extra ten bucks, or get thrown out...
I personally think that the “New Coke” was not a mistake but a false flag for misdirection, allowing the mfr to start using HFCS instead of cane sugar in the product.
They “introduced” the New Coke to great fanfare, then brought back “Classic” with HFCS instead, and few could tell the difference, and we who could were poo-pooed about our “imaginary flavor”.
HFCS leaves a vague but distinct dusty taste.
