The teenager accused of fatally stabbing Austin Metcalf and leaving him to die in his twin brother’s arms at a high school track meet allegedly admitted to the senseless killing — but claimed it was in self defense.
“I’m not alleged, I did it,” 17-year-old Karmelo Anthony chillingly told police in Frisco, Texas as he was being arrested at Kuykendall Stadium, according to an arrest warrant obtained by NBC DFW.
The horrific stabbing was sparked when Anthony, who was sitting under another team’s pop up tent as it rained Wednesday morning, was asked by Metcalf to move — and Anthony refused, according to the arrest report.
Anthony then unzipped a bag, reached inside and told Metcalf, who he’d never met before, “Touch me and see what happens,” a witness told police, according to the document.

Indeed
Sucker punch is what they do
“He put his hands on me.” could mean anything from laying a hand without any impact, to sitting on top of him pummeling his face. It's a euphemism I hate because it means nothing, other than the technical requirements for an assault charge.
That statement still does not clarify what happened between the two before the stabbing occurred.
Considering he first told him “touch me and see what happens” ... I’d guess that it was nothing more than a grab or a shove.
FOX has been all over it. The victim's father is a peculiar son of a gun ...
OK--considering that I have not RTA, I can agree with that.
Liar. There had been an altercation between Anthony and Metcalf earlier in the day. Anthony brought a knife on his return to the stadium and decided to occupy a location that would re-ignite the fight. The fight was incited and there was intent to kill as evidence in returning armed.
You walk up to a person out of the blue, get in their face and threaten them , start a fight and then start screaming self defense, self defense.
Obama resurrected the tactic for Black Lives Matter.
Sounds like self defense.
Not to me. Since he had to unzip a bag to get the knife it’s highly likely he had time and opportunity to defuse the situation by walking away.... a bad choice that will likely get him room and board in Huntsville for most of his useful life ! And he was an honor student and star athlete??? What a bad decision !!
“..brought a knife with him and intentionally sat in the wrong place. He may have been looking for trouble...”
On the other hand, maybe he just stepped in to the nearest rain shelter and should have been welcomed?
The shooter was 74 year old Leroy King .
The victim was 38 year old Albert Patrick Johnson, who knocked on King’s door by accident, he had meant to visit King’s neighbor.
A jury found Mr. King guilty of second degree murder and use of a firearm in the commission of murder.
King shot Johnson twice , in his neck and his torso.
*The headline, “ Black shooting Black “ is all to often the case in Norfolk. When Blacks shoot Whites , no big deal, only if a White shoots a Black does it need mentioning.
There were occasionally shotguns and rifles in the pickup trucks of some country students, at my high school.
Same here, only is more than just occasionally.
And we sharpened our pocket knives in shop class.
Heck, I even machined and fabricated an entire roughly 1/3 scale Civil War cannon as my shop project - and test fired it in the empty field just outside the school fence with a bunch of students, teachers and even the school’s principle watching and a reporter from our newspaper covering the event and taking pictures.
Times change.
Did they touch him?
“What’s illegal about having a knife?”
It is illegal, anywhere in the United States, for a weapon of any kind to be brought to a public school or event. That is to prevent what happened in Texas from happening.
“Till everybody went guanopathic about “weapons”, most boys in Texas carried pocket knives.”
That is correct, but this is a different time now. People are more evil. There are reasons for that, but we are not supposed to notice them.
From Google:
"Disparity of force" refers to situations where there's an imbalance in physical ability, numbers, or other factors, placing one person at a severe disadvantage in a confrontation, potentially justifying the use of greater force in self-defense.
I'm 77 and have had quadruple bypass heart surgery. I also often go armed with a handgun. Am I required by law to let these twins assault me? Or does the law allow me to stand my ground?
I'm certainly not going to prevail in a physical confrontation without a weapon to assist me.
Of course you do; we all do.
Teams store their valuables in team tents during track meets. Random gangstas are not allowed in team tents. Most fathers would have done the same thing as the Metcalf boy. The same result may have a occurred.
Feral savage.
Everyone check their phone for pics & vids - maybe in the background...
Am I required by law to let these twins assault me?
Evidence?
Put down the feral animal.
