Hyundai is standing by its DEI policies and launching a new multicultural marketing campaign — and an executive says that it’s good for business.
“In terms of the creative that we’re doing and the work that we’re doing with Culture Brands, it’s born from a recognition that it drives sales, drives the bottom line for the company,” Hyundai Director of Experiential and Multicultural Marketing told Digiday.
Culture Brands is Hyundai’s African American Marketing Agency of Record and produced the “Play for the Car” ad campaign. The commercial features a Black couple “finding moments of connection and joy amid the chaos of daily life” through the driving of a 2025 Hyundai Sonata Hybrid, according to Campaign Director Nate Edwards. The ads will be aimed at (b)lack consumers on channels such as TV One and Bounce. […]
As Hyundai continues to embrace DEI, company after company appears to be turning away from the controversial policies. General Motors removed all references to DEI in its latest SEC 10-K filing. …

Driving off a cliff, is more like it.
Buy bye! Funny thing is that in “dei”, there is none. Obvious last night that the losercrats have been to the training.
Thankfully the morons are making it easy to know who NOT to do business with.
I guess they’re going after Subaru’s gay brigade?
Maybe instead of focusing on woke bullsquat, they could focus on making their cars harder to steal? Just a thought.
DEI really stands for “division, exclusion, inciting”.
No doubt.
Especially when the sales are paid for by USAID and American tax payers.
I love our Hyundais.....waiting to buy another one....hmmmmmm
It will drive me right to Toyota or Honda.
FUNNY-—NO MENTION OF THE 100 ILLEGALS —MOST FROM VENEZUELA -———YANKED OUT OF THEIR EV BATTERY PLANT IN GEORGIA LAST WEEK BY ICE.
=== 80 % of the workers there !!!!!!
Hyundai and Kia are the official cars of police chases.
Sounds like they are confusing marketing to black people with hiring and promoting idiots because of sex and skin. But yuu keep digging that hole Hyundai.
You get what you pay has a meaning indeed.
I have a 2024 Hundai, made in Georgia or a nearby state.
I love the car. It is a great car.
Sad to see Hundai management making a blunder of this order.
Why alienate 80% of your customer base?
“Maybe instead of focusing on woke bullsquat, they could focus on making their cars harder to steal? Just a thought.”
Making their cars easy to steal is a part of that “inclusion” thing. It’s not a bug, it’s a feature.
South Korean college educated women are essentially non wife material. They are woke and there is a culture of women being told to only marry men they dominate, and to not contribute equally to marriage with finances or shared workload. Hence no babies now.
Of course this compzny would not take on the woke women....
An interesting factoid. One out 24 females aged 1 to 92 in South Korea work in prostitution. If you break it don to women between 18-50 it is more than one out of ten! The consumer luxury goids desire is strong in Korea.
I am going to visit Seoul Friday for a week and then Tokyo the following week with my son.
That these women are so consumed with materiel possessions is really a sad testament to the socialism and greed.
I Suggest 100% Tariffs Until they Drop DEI. :^)
I think the Hyundais are mostly made in their plant in Montgomery, AL, while their sister Kias are made in West Point, GA, about 85 miles away.
Where are Genesis made?
