I know AP and youtube, but I look at the banner at around 6:38 of the video, where it says "Reagan means freedom", I was so proud that day, less than two months later Reagan was shot by John Hinckley, and he survived.

The dems hate patriotism.

Ironic- yesterday, before the death of Carter was announced, my buddy from HS called me. We were talking about old times and he reminded me the day we skipped out of school and went to NYC to welcome home the hostages with a ticker tape parade!!!

Did a reporter ever ask Brandon or KJP what they intended to do to release the Americans held by muslim animals after the October 7th pogrom?

If I remember correctly, the Iranians knew exactly when R. Reagan was going to be sworn in, and they gave the order to release the hostages minutes before RR was sworn in. They were very fearful of RR.

I wasn’t even close to being political back then but the overwhelming impression was that the Iranians weren’t scared of Carter but were terrified of Reagan.

This Hostage Crisis spawned NIGHTLINE with Ted Koppel, soon to be 85!, who went on to make NIGHTLINE a reliable soundboard for Liberal Democrat policies and interests.

I remember that quite well. Stayed up late many times in 1979-80 watching Ted Koppel.
