You might have been waiting for this moment your entire life, or perhaps you’re just looking for a reason to embrace 50 years of life. But, friends, 50 is when you officially hit the “Senior” stage and start reaping the benefits of an AARP membership.
While we don’t quite agree with being called a “Senior” at such a young age, we can’t deny the incredible perks of being an AARP member. Right now, you can get a year-long membership for just $9 per year. After that, a second membership for anyone in your household will be free.
What comes with a membership?
An AARP membership unlocks discounts, programs, and services from trusted brands, such as AT&T, Denny’s, Hilton and more. If you like traveling, this membership will offer flight discounts to cruises so you can be frugal with hard-earned cash. After all you’ve worked your entire life, let AARP do the heavy lifting from now on and scour the best prices for you.
Be sure to install the brand’s trusted extension on your browser. Just by using it, you can earn up to 750 AARP Rewards Points and up to 15 daily points. Points can be redeemed for sweepstakes entries, gift cards, local deals, and discounts at your favorite stores.

AARP lost all credibility with me when they endorsed Obamascare (tm). Sorry. Never forgiving them.
For lefty q-tips..
Hard pass.
I’m guessing kitty litter. I had a case once where my client had married a Muslim. There was a restraining order against him so he asked whether he could get his stuff including his Koran. So she brought over a big duffle bag filled with random stuff including his Koran. After she had filled it up she dumped used kitty litter in it. I have to admit I did enjoy that.
Thanks for the reminder. I got us off of a LOT of mailing lists last year...but ‘the incremental creep’ seems to be back!
2025 is now officially, ‘The Year of No Unsolicited Mail.’
I took a sharpie and wrote across their application “Up Yours Commies!” and sent it back. Didn’t hear from them again. Lol!
I did too and got inundated with ads for life insurance and hearing aids. All overpriced. Eff AARP.
AMAC is certainly much further right than AARP.
I give my membership money to AMAC.
It could be free for all I care.
I wouldn’t give them $0.02.
So they can Donate it to Democrats???
Forget it
I wouldn’t sign-up with AARP even if free! socialist leanings. No thanks.
I did something similar. Only took once!
Not one dime.
Used to be free, still got the discounts. But other than that, it’s a leftist organization.
AARP ranks just above Disney and just bellow raw sewage in my book. Eff em running.
aarp couldn’t pay me to be a member.
...but you’d get a discount at Denny’s!
You should see the crazy DEI Bostonian they just hired as CEO. AARP is doomed as a company.
AARP promoted Obamacare. So no way would I join that outfit.
I think it’s $9 with a 5 year contract.
