We see eye-to-eye in most situations, but when it comes to Trump she is extremely set in her ways. She constantly says how much she hates him whenever he's on the news, and repeatedly asks me how I can possibly support him.
We had to turn off the debate between Trump and Kamala Harris halfway through because we couldn't stop arguing. I don't think our marriage would have survived a second debate!
So, as the election approaches, we've decided to stop talking about politics altogether. We've stopped watching the news when we're both at home. We don't discuss what we are reading.
This new dynamic was working quite well – until this week, when my wife declared the morning after a particularly steamy bedroom session the night before: She will put me on a 'sex ban' if I vote for Trump.
She says that, because the Pennsylvania race is so tight, my vote alone could change the whole outcome of the election, and she refuses to have sex with me unless I vote for Harris... or not at all.
Obviously, I am not going to vote for Harris. I'm desperate for a second Trump presidency. But I also couldn't live without our sex life. How can I explain to my wife that I can't change my beliefs so easily?

I read that political incompatibility is a major cause of relationship breakups. I’ve known two men who will not talk to their wives about politics as their wives turn into unhinged whirling dervish bitches who end up spitting and incoherent. When the wife says something political, they just agree to keep the peace.
I must walk on eggs near my employee as he’s turns into the same spitting angry idiot whenever the subject comes up. I try to NEVER say anything political. Sometimes I have no idea that something is going to trigger him. (He calls trans women “women.” I pretend not to hear.)
Reminds me of a girlfriend my Marine buddy had. She complained he never wanted to talk about the things she wanted to talk about. He just didn’t respond. He said, “when you talk about the government killing us with chemtrails and treated water it just sounds crazy.” He said he fled the house and never went back for his stuff. Lunatics are dangerous. I don’t care how great the sex is.
My take? Lie and fuck her brains out.
So just do what democrats advise women to do, lie to your spouse. It’s the democrat way, lie to the people you trust.
My gf (rule #1 - we don’t talk politics) tried that a couple weeks ago, so I gathered my stuff and told her I won’t live under that sort of animas or threats and started to leave her house. She stopped me at the door all apologetic and tearing up. Call her bluff and pack your stuff.
This marriage is done. Stick a fork in her.

Dude...you married a nightmare.
Just tell her if that’s her ultimatum, she will be responsible for her own expenses and any increase in taxes from a Harris administration. Otherwise, if you both just vote as you are supposed to be free to do, then marriage should continue as per vows.

vote for whomever you want to, and tell wifey-poo whatever she wants to hear ... example: “Of course i voted for harris sweetie!” ... she’ll never know the difference because voting is done by secret ballot ...
