Where Is the Beef? Americans chow down on a whopping 50 billion burgers a year — that’s three per person every week. This burger obsession has fueled a fast-food culture like no other, where chains constantly compete to deliver bigger, better, and beefier bites. But when it comes to quality, some spots go above and beyond.

I haven’t had one since 1984.
The Habit has onion rings! 😋
In-n-Out is there. That’s all that matters
I hear in Australia they “infuse” McDonalds with kangaroo meat
The Wendy’s March Madness deals. Dumb luck that I happened upon them in the app. Looking forward to it next Spring.
Since they are all fried in seed oils, what difference does it make? All are inferior products - and potentially fatal if consumed often.
I was extremely unimpressed by the one time I tried Culver’s.
How roo'd!
Was that by chance in the Twin Cities area? I was there on a contract couple years ago and really liked Smashburger but half the time they were closed during the day because they couldn’t find enough people to work. It was very tasty when it was open. And the grilled brussels sprouts instead of fries are amazing.
Mickey Dee's lost their mojo when the switched from beef tallow.
The fries just ain't the same...
This Smashburger was in Novato, California, about 25 miles north of San Francisco. Their reason for closing so quickly may have been the same as you described::not enough workers to fill out a week’s schedule.
I’m surprised Freddie’s isn’t on the list.
Maybe it’s not a national chain?
Everything Culvers serves is good. Their risk sandwich is made with a big fillet of North Atlantic cod, my favorite fish.
We use to like and frequent BurgerFi.
But something in their burgers changed during the pandemic. Think it was the bun. Maybe other things as well. Just weren’t as good to us. And, it didn’t help that they were stupid expensive and changed their rewards program.
Haven’t gone back in a very long time. Too many other good choices locally and at better prices.
Not surprised that they’re going bankrupt.
Suprised Five Guys didn’t make the list.
If McDonald’s steak, egg and cheese bagel has been tried by any Freepers, I’m guessing the grade of beef they use in that breakfast sandwich is not prime, nor choice, but a barely edible grade of beef [if that is what it is?] considered fit for human consumption .
If you don’t like greasy fries, you can have my freeze dried sticks they serve in a local 5 Guys in Mt. Airy MD. Tasteless! Stopped going there because of what they have done there to their fries. Used to be great, but no longer. Went to another 5Guys in Columbia and their fries were so much better.
SAME HERE
Mooyah does a great job and the owner in Winter Park FL is very conscientious about good food and service
“ Mickey Dee’s lost their mojo when the switched from beef tallow. The fries just ain’t the same... “ AMEN to that!
