Where Is the Beef? Americans chow down on a whopping 50 billion burgers a year — that’s three per person every week. This burger obsession has fueled a fast-food culture like no other, where chains constantly compete to deliver bigger, better, and beefier bites. But when it comes to quality, some spots go above and beyond.

I prefer In N Out Burger personally.
I’ve tried Mooyah’s. They’re good. I like Wendy’s, too. Haven’t tried the others that I can recall.
Locally, I like P. Terry’s.
What is McDonald’s meat made of? Where have all the missing people in America gone?
Shake Shack, Culver’s and Smashburger I can agree with. Wendy’s and In and Out tho? Went to a P. Terry’s today. Burger like Whataburger with 5-Guys fries only shoestring.
We have one called Burger Up. Fresh meat and hand cut fries. Truffle fries are the best.
We love Burger Fi.
Arbys has just introduced burgers. We’ve had the cheeseburger deluxe twice and they’re pretty good.
However, we have non-chain locals who make great burgers better than any on that list.
Accross the Street Diner makes burgers with a huge Angus beef patty cooked to order with any kind of cheese you want, on a Collin Street Bakery bun. The fries are fresh cut.
They also have a real drugstore malt/shake machine from when it was a Rexall drugstore.
I’m only familiar with #1, 3,7 and 8.
Wendy’s was okay. Last one eaten over 10 years ago. Recipe may have been revised.
In & Out, I love. The meat is good, but Im most impressed with the fresh vegetables that come with each burger.
Habit. I know of. but cost more than I wanted to spend.
Habit burgers would be too oversized for me anyway, unless that was the entire dinner with no sides. For Huge burgers, I would usually slice it in half, maybe I finish it now, maybe I don’t.
There was a Smash burger that opened near me. I kept planning to stop in.Finally, some 3 months later. I drove up to the restaurant, armed and ready with my credit card. only to find out they had already closed up and moved out.
McDonald’s hamburgers are gross. They have to empty the pepper shaker on them to try and make them taste like something.
Space aliens?
Cannibalistic red-haired giants?
Could be either or both hereabouts. Area 51 and Lovelock Cave are well within raiding distance...
I worked for a packing house that butchered utility cattle. We’d send a semi every day to the salt warehouses in Kansas where Wendy’s did their own grinding.
Hey 4 of those are on Staten Island :)
Wendy’s is a good burger. They are closing 140 stores :(
Like the old Whatburger or the new Whataburger (after being sold to some chicago entity) and the fries at 5guys soaked in grease ? I have eaten a 4 different locations in 3 different States and they were ALL DRIPPING GREASE to the point of I asked for a refund on the fries all 4 times. Their burgers are nothing special. I won't go back to any 5guys.
Didn’t help BurgerFi, they declared Bankruptcy in Sept. Trying to reorganize.
The only one we have on the list in my small city is Wendy’s and I never go there because I don’t like fast food burgers.

I can personally attest that Wendy’s uses good beef. Earlier this year they had great deals on the Dave’s Double and the Dave’s Single for a couple of months with the app. $2 and $1 respectively. Best Fast Food Deal of the year.
30 years my buddy worked at a processing plant that supplied Burger King and he said he was surprised that they add veal.
