1. Select a VP well before the election.
2. If Trump goes to jail immediately make the VP the presidential candidate. Make Trump the VP candidate.
3. After the acquittal trade places between Trump and the VP.
4. If the Republican presidential candidate (the VP) wins, if needed pardon Trump and then trade places with the VP. There is no known law against it.
And I think when Marchan jails Trump, banana republic style, is when Putin will go ahead with tactical nukes on Brandon’s Ukraine fiasco, probably a Nato and a US military target. Then we go to nuclear war footing and cancel the election. One scenario.

It will be interesting. I’m thinking you’re right. The commie judge can and will sentence Trump to 5-10 years effective immediately after sentencing. The SS has no say and will have to give him up. The others side, will the U.S. government remove SS protection for a former president convicted of 1 or more felonies?
This is the perfect political ploy that is a godsend to Biden. He and Obama are in the background pulling the strings and staying out of the fray. Trump could be silenced for years. His empire would then be snatched by these overzealous commies. The message being sent is don’t do business in NY and everyone sees it.
Now that they have caught and tried him, what will they do with him is a fraught question.
Suppose they incarcerate him for even a few days -—and he gets killed by some nut thug in Riker’s Island??? What then?
The charges could have been brought three years ago. But that would not have interfered with Trump’s reelection campaign.
