It has been mentioned on the news that the sentencing for Trump has been timed to occur a mere 3 days prior to the GOP convention. Furthermore, it is quite possible that Merchan could immediately handcuff DJT and sentence him to a lengthy incarceration with little that could be done to prevent this..
I welcome your views and insights on this ..
I think the Secret Service might respond with extreme prejudice to whoever issues such an order.
I don’t think even Marchan is stupid enough to try putting Trump in jail or restricting his travel.

The report I read yesterday said that Trump’s lawyers requested the July 11th sentencing date.
Why not? He might go with the idea “in for a penny...” But more likely, he sentences Trump to prison but stays the sentence pending appeal. So voters are left with the idea that their president could be imprisoned if he loses the appeal.
They will either kill him or put him in jail.

If Trump gets reelected he probably should have is own private security.
If it was me I would have them fully armed with the latest B&T SCW submachine gun varent in 10mm plus a new run of Stoner 63 pattern machine guns in belt fed configuration.
