How’s the watercolor undertaking coming along? And how are you feeling - oxygen ok? Did you get more snow, or rain like we did?
How stupid can some people get. If she wanted to be able to reach knives while at her sink then just put the Knife block in that same spot.
I would go crazy seeing knives not staying in a good position, and she didn’t even use soap to clean the knife after cutting the apple. YUCK!
Not only that.....
Can you imagine the germs that would coagulate around those openings? If she’s lazy enough to hack up her stone countertops for the ease of reaching something, she’s not about to keep those slots clean! They’d require diligence - a scrub brush that fits in there and doing so on a regular basis. Knives touch food. This is a disaster waiting to happen.
When I was working in the countertop business (both residential and commercial) they stopped putting sinks with the overflow openings into hospitals, restaurants etc. because they were germ centers. They switched to an open drain, no plugs available. That’s a sink that has nothing to do with food! Good luck to her - and her family and guests lol.

I will pop in every once in a while though.
I think after watching all those video’s on water coloring, I might end up with Hunters technique and just splatter. It will be a whole lot easier. :-)
I just got back from Abilene and turned the TV on to see that! They were saying Virginia was Haleys only hope.
My granddaughter took me to the doctor and we made a day of it. Ate lunch then went to thrift stores. It was fun but now I’m exhausted!

When I read Ayn Rands books n works I read her authorized biography in addition to non official biographies.
She and her husband befriended a much younger couple and the younger husband was tutored by Ayn and became much more. Their affair was well known in their circle of followers and when they started they sat down with spouses and explained the were going to have an affair. Set up a Ayn/young guy get together for twice a week. Spouses gave their blessing It went on for many years. It only ended when Nathaniel Branden (cougar Ayn’s cub) started playing with a new younger woman, who would eventually become his 2nd wife. Any later reconciled with his first wife Barbara. Nathaniel’s wife Barbara ended up writing Ayns biography. Crazy enough for us?
