Green pusher Michael Mann ramps up the rhetoric against the people on MSNBC segment

MSNBC continued its campaign against average Americans by bringing on Michael Mann, a well-known “green” pusher, who blamed Republicans for Hurricane Idalia, because we won’t sign our own death warrants and go along with the rapid destruction of industries that use oil, coal, and natural gas.

To summarize what Mann said: warming water caused the storm to be more severe, and severe storms cost more, in terms of life and property. What you don’t see is any scientific data that shows a direct link between our consumption of oil, coal, and natural gas and temperatures, because temperatures have fluctuated while consumption of these natural resources has skyrocketed.

Basically, this is a propaganda piece pushing a book and the radical green agenda. From NewsBusters:

MSNBC’s Chris Jansing welcomed Dr. Michael Mann to her Thursday program to promote his new book, discuss the aftermath of Hurricane Idalia, and to wonder if ‘death and destruction’ wasn’t enough to get Republicans to address climate change, what is?

Mann, Joe Biden, and all the other “green” pusher Democrats don’t have the facts on their side, so they resort to manipulation, and gaslighting. Biden shows his absolute ignorance when he says no one can deny that there is a climate crisis; reported by Breitbart:

‘Nobody can deny the impact of [the] climate crisis. There’s no real intelligence to deny the impacts of the climate crisis anymore,’ the Guardian reports.

The Democrats preach the importance of diversity, but diversity of thought is not allowed. Any storm, fire, flood, or drought is an opportunity to push the radical, destructive green agenda. Clearly, the problem is that Biden has no idea that there are a huge number of scientists who do disagree. The scientists from whom the public won’t see or hear, if they’re watching or reading...

Earth historical temperature, ice ages, warm periods, glacial periods and interglacial warm periods: We are in an interglacial warming cycle in an ice age period.

The first graph shows the long-term average global temperature view of warm periods and ice ages:

Note that Ice ages vary in length, but 50 million years is pretty typical. Warm periods last much longer than ice ages.

The second graph shows temperature variations for the last 450,000 years in our current Ice Age which started about 10 million years ago, depending on exactly where you want to specify the start temperature from graph 1. (The temperature scale on graph 2 is the average temperature at the Antarctica glacier bore site, not the same as the average global temperature from graph 1):

The temperature for the current interglacial warm period from ice core data in Greenland is shown in graph 3. Note that the temperature always fluctuates and that the current temperature is not out of the normal range of fluctuations:

What a Hoot! Awesome how this Fraudster still gets airtime. Not so long ago, Mann sued Mark Steyn for Defamation. That in turn gave Steyn the right of Discovery to Mann’s research to prove Mann’s AGW conclusions. Mann refused to comply and the suit was tossed. As I recall Steyn was awarded court costs etc etc etc

Micheal Mann is a fraud. He changed data for political and personal reasons. He should be stripped of his degrees and forever banned from doing any research. He deserves much worse. People should not argue or give attention to Mann since he lacks all credibility. He only deserves abuse and ridicule to remind other frauds of what they face.

If you accept that the greenhouse global warming climate models have any basis in reality, then you must accept that water vapor is the primary greenhouse gas in Earth's atmosphere. Water vapor is undeniably the most abundant greenhouse gas. Earth's atmosphere consists of approximately 0.5% to 1.0% water vapor, compared with 0.04% carbon dioxide.

The Tonga underwater volcanic eruption in January 2022 pumped over 160 tons (146 teragrams) of water vapor into the Earth's stratosphere, increasing the total amount of water vapor in the stratosphere by 10%, and is expected to remain in the stratosphere for several years. That had to have a greater effect on global climate than all of the CO2 produced by humans since the industrial revolution.

The Global Warming crowd could argue that this year's hot summer following the Tonga eruption is evidence supporting the validity of their climate warming theory. Instead, they cannot help themselves but reflexively blame any bad weather anywhere in the world as proof of anthropogenic Global Climate Change™ (while good weather is just weather).

Colluded with East Anglia’s Climate Research Unit Phil Jones and NASAs James Hanson in MULTIPLE emails to suppress peer-reviewed dissent and to actually hide data that did not fit the conclusions about climate change they were advocating.

I might add here (as conjecture on my part) that it was all because of money. Government money in the form of grants, budgets, and contracts supporting efforts that aided government’s goal to control the world through unprovable scare events. Despicable lies. Despicable people.

IIRC, there was also another volcanic eruption, Mt. Pinatubo that dumped and untold amount of debris and ash in the atmosphere. But climate leftists insisted that has no part in their particular climate scare - the one where they believe cow farts, etc. were/are far more impactful.
