If you accept that the greenhouse global warming climate models have any basis in reality, then you must accept that water vapor is the primary greenhouse gas in Earth's atmosphere. Water vapor is undeniably the most abundant greenhouse gas. Earth's atmosphere consists of approximately 0.5% to 1.0% water vapor, compared with 0.04% carbon dioxide.

The Tonga underwater volcanic eruption in January 2022 pumped over 160 tons (146 teragrams) of water vapor into the Earth's stratosphere, increasing the total amount of water vapor in the stratosphere by 10%, and is expected to remain in the stratosphere for several years. That had to have a greater effect on global climate than all of the CO2 produced by humans since the industrial revolution.

The Global Warming crowd could argue that this year's hot summer following the Tonga eruption is evidence supporting the validity of their climate warming theory. Instead, they cannot help themselves but reflexively blame any bad weather anywhere in the world as proof of anthropogenic Global Climate Changeā„¢ (while good weather is just weather).

IIRC, there was also another volcanic eruption, Mt. Pinatubo that dumped and untold amount of debris and ash in the atmosphere. But climate leftists insisted that has no part in their particular climate scare - the one where they believe cow farts, etc. were/are far more impactful.
